I liked Katie Holmes. You felt for her character, Liza. She and her son Jude had something traumatic happen to them and it stuck with them. You can tell it changed her. You felt bad for her.

She was attacked in a break in during the night, Jude sees her being bashed in the head, and now he has selective mutetisim *Yeah yeah I spelt it wrong*. But you can see her struggling to get over what happened to her, she blames herself over what happened to her son.

Threw the movie, you can see her trying so hard to help her son. Help him heal. Even relenting and letting Jude keep the doll after hearing Jude finally speak to the doll. But when shit hits the fan she wants nothing but keep her son safe.

They shot this movie greatly and neatly. They kept the house, they kept the human Brahms' story about killing the little girl, his parents suicides, the killing of Greta's ex, and that he lived in the walls.

You also felt bad for Jude. He was so traumatized by what happened to his mom, that he became mute, and doesn't feel like he can talk about what happened to him.

I HATED THIS MOVIE!

I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one, I mean I'd watch it again but this one no. They changed the ENTIRE backstory of the doll.

In the first movie, the doll was created when the human Brahms' supposedly died in the fire. And he moves the doll when no one looks. That it was all human Brahms. But in this movie they scraped that.

The decided to make this a paranormal possession movie.

Apparently they decided to make the doll a demon *I guess?* and has been around for centuries making sons kill their families, and the doll is searching for the 'Right Broken Soul' to possess their bodies.

They killed off Brahms the human apparently during the end of the first movie. They added a man named Joseph, who apparently is the being who put the doll back together at the end of the first movie after the doll told him to?

When Liza's husband smashes the dolls head open, theres a burnt bug filled demon like form inside it? Cause you know we didn't see a plain glass doll in the first one have nothing but air in it in the first one!

And Liza even comments that the doll was obviously broken and put back together again!

If you're going to make a sequel keep the continuity of the story you are continuing! If you cant do that, then don't make a squeal!

Now I have mentioned the attack that Jude and Liza went threw. They mention it a lot in the movie. About how neither Liza and Jude refuse to open up about what happened to them that night.  They use it as a sorta plot hole that leads really to no where.

They use it at the end for a Brahms possessed Jude to taunt Liza at how she couldn't protect him when it happened. But that's it.

Oh and a beautiful dog dies!

Imma stop here before I lose braincells thinking about this movie.

I give this movie a 1-10. I liked Katie's acting in this, she did her best, they kept the same house... but that's it. that's the only good thing about this movie.

I guess you can see I hated this movie... *Can you tell?* If you want to waste your money on seeing this movie or even renting this movie be my guest. If you've seen the first movie then you will be extremely pissed seeing this one.

I guess if you have never seen the first movie you would enjoy it more but I saw the first one, so I was pissed.

Im going to go clear my memory of this movie by watching a game threw of Outlast Whistleblower. Be warned yall
