Chapter 7: The Talk

Lisa POV

Lisa was on her way to Jennie's, she didn't know what to think, all she knows is that now she loves Rosie.

She approaches Jennie's door but before she could even knock it opens.

"Lisa. Thank you for coming over." Lisa just smiles at her and walks right in.

"So what is it that you wanted to talk about?" Lisa asks in curiosity. "Us. We aren't over Lisa. Let me fight for you."

"Jennie, 2 years ago, I had a ring in my hand. Ready to give you the world. Ready to die for you. But you wanted to live your life and that's what I let you do. Why do you even want to try again, have you found no happiness when you were finding yourself?"

Jennie starts to cry, hard. Lisa immediately felt bad for what she had said "Jen.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean that.. I just.." Jennie cut her off with a kiss, but to her surprise.. Lisa pushed her off.

"Jennie, I'm sorry, I love Rosie. I can't do this. Not with you." She then turns to the door.

Jennie runs after her and hugs her from behind "Lisa please, don't let me go." Lisa turns slowly to face her. "You let me go." Slowly she unwraps Jennie from her and walks out.

Jennie feeling defeat and a broken heart clearly knew that she had lost the love of her life, she makes her way to the door to close it.

Suddenly, a hand stops it from closing..

"Lisa.. what? I don't ge.." Lisa grabs Jennie and kisses her hard.

After the kiss Jennie is confused "I don't get it Lisa you said you love Rosie."

"I do and I'm an idiot for wanting you too. What are you doing to me Jennie Kim?"

Jennie hugs her "Choose me. Please choose me. I know it's selfish I know I don't deserve you but please Lisa choose me."

Lisa covers her face with her hands and sits down "Jennie, you are the love of my life, but you broke me, and Rosie, she doesn't deserve this. You know she told me to come see you today when you asked me to, she told me to stay with you if I still loved you. She doesn't deserve this."

Jennie was crying at this point, she knows that she is hurting her best friend. "Lisa let me talk to her, let me make this right. But I need you to tell me right now if it's her you want or if it's me."

"Jennie. I love you, but.." Jennie interrupts "there's always a but.."

"Let me finish.. but I love Rosie too and I don't want to hurt her. So I've made my decision"

Jennie knows what's coming is going to hurt her..

"I'm going to give you a chance Jennie, but I'm also going to give her a chance."

"So you'll date us both? I don't think Rosie will like that. Neither do I." Jennie states

"No I will not date anyone, I am just giving you both a chance to be my friend, to be each other's best friends again. We are going to start from the beginning and if at the end I stay in love with you or her, I will stick to whoever person that may be."

Jennie grows quiet "Do you think Rosie will be okay with that?"

"It was her suggestion." Lisa says

Jennie accepts the condition "okay, friends."

Lisa smiles, hugs her and leaves.

Jennie POV
"Lisa, I'm going to marry you one day. I swear it." She says to herself.
