Chapter 28: The Aftermath

Lisa POV 

Lisa woke up earlier than Jennie, she left her there sleeping on the bed as she went out to her balcony for some air 

After a while she felt arms slowly make its way around her "Jennie..." Lisa smiled 

"I missed this, Love. I missed you." Jennie said 

"I missed you too" Lisa started to cry 

"Why are you crying, Love?" Jennie worryingly asked 

"I am selfish, Jennie. You're with Kai. What did I do.. to you? to him.. and to Ella. I am fucked up." Lisa says in tears 

"You are far from selfish, what you did hurt me, but you thought that you had to. So I could have a better life, so Ella could have a complete family and she does." Jennie says 

"You cheated on Kai.. you being here with me, what happened last night, You cheated on your family Jennie. It's all my fault." Lisa said 

"I broke up with Kai." Jennie said 

"What?? Why? When? Now??" Lisa said in confusion 

"After I went to see you yesterday." Jennie admitted

"No. Ella. No Jennie.. you can't" Lisa says frantically 

"Lisa listen, Ella asked me to come back to you. She talked to me before I went to see you. She told me not to let you go. She said it won't change anything that she will always look at me like I am her Mom. She wants to see us happy, Lis. Please let her see that with us." Jennie said 

"What about Kai?" Lisa asks 

"He said he saw it coming.. he said that he is grateful that you gave him a chance to have what he had with me. He said you can visit Ella anytime." Jennie assured Lisa 

"I can't believe this. Will you be coming home to me again? Everyday. It won't just be in my imagination anymore??" Lisa was hopeful 

"It will be real, Lisa. I will come to you everyday, love. Just promise me you will still be there when I get home." Jennie says 

"I never left." Lisa says and pulls her into a kiss
