Third Person POV
It has been a year after Seulrene's wedding, Lisa and I are still engaged, we now have a beautiful baby boy, Justin, who is currently staying with Lisa's parents because the two are both very busy with work most of the time. Ella flew over to her Dad and decided to study college there. Rosie and Jisoo made amends and decided to stay friends. Jisoo is now engaged to Soojoo. Everything seemed normal, seemed okay. But little did we know, it has been far from that.
FlashbackAfter dinner at the hotel the gang decided to go to a bar to party. Lisa decided to stay in the room with Ella and watch movies, while the rest made their way to the bar.
Jennie POV
"Jennie!!! come dance with us!!!" Irene pulls her to the dance floor
While dancing someone approached Jennie "Hey beautiful what brings you here?" he asks
"Ya! V! Stop hitting on my bestfriend she is already engaged!!!" Irene says
"Hahaha! I am just being friendly, cousin." V responds
Jennie just laughs as they all continue dancing, moments later she excuses herself and heads back to the booth. V follows her over there.
"So engaged huh, how many years too late am I?" V laughs
"15." Jennie smiles as she shows him the ring
"Well Jennie I can tell that you are happy, so do you mind if we start a beautiful friendship?" V asks
"Definitely!" Jennie replies and they spend the rest of the night talking about life
Present Time: Third Person POV
In a span of a year Jennie and V became even closer friends. V undeniably shows interest in Jennie but of course keeps it to himself as he respects the relationship she has with Lisa. Who fully accepted him as Jennie's good friend and would occasionally invite him over for dinner.
Jennie POV
*Beep* a test message comes in and Jennie goes ahead an checks her phone
"Bubba, wanna hang out tonight?" V texts
"Sure, let me just ask Lisa if she would like to join us!" J replies
Jennie makes her way upstairs to where Lisa is working
"Baby, V wants to hang tonight, wanna go??" Jennie asks
"Hi babe, I am kinda busy working on this report, but you should go have fun and send V my regards!" Lisa says
Jennie smiles faintly as she nods her head and closes the door
"Hey bub, looks like its just you and me tonight, Lisa has to finish a report." Jennies texts
"Awww. Don't worry! We will have an amazing time, bub. Now wipe that sad face off, I can't see it but I can feel it." Jennie reads his response as she smiles
Later that night: At the restaurant
"Hey, whats on your mind you haven't been yourself lately?" V asks
"Im fine. I just honestly haven't been feeling Lisa lately. She is always busy. She always has excuses for why we can't spend time together and she always goes out for work, it has never crossed my mind that there is someone else because I trust her, but sometimes I find myself wanting to follow her. I never do it though." Jennie says
"You should trust her Jen, that girl would never hurt you. You have been through so much. The world has pulled you apart so many times and you have found your way back together again." V says
Jennie smiles "But thats not the only thing V, as much as you may think the problem is with her. Lately I find myself loving her less." She starts to cry " and I don't want to feel this way. Not again."
"You just need to remember why you guys are together, you need a reminder. You need to make her spend more time with you. What you guys have is great. Don't let it go to waste bub." V says
"You are so good to me, V. Despite your feelings you have stayed by my side and I know that isn't easy. What have I done to deserve you?" Jennie ask
"Hey now, don't make me cry, Jen. hahaha! I love you, and I will always be by you through whatever you need. Just know that if she does ever hurt you, I am going to take you away." V laughs
Jennie laughs too in response, but she couldn't help but think.. what if he just took her away...
"Come on! Onto the next stop! Drinks on me!" as they make their way to the bar
Lisa POV
*Ring* "Hey Rosie Posie! whatsup??" Lisa says to the phone
"Lis, I saw V and Jennie here at the bar, I said Hi to them, why aren't you with them??" Rosie asks
"I have to finish this report, Rosie. I am so close to getting that promotion I can't afford any distractions. If I get that promotion I'll finally be able to afford the dream wedding Jennie wants! I do feel bad tho, I don't have much time for her lately but I keep telling myself this all for her and its what motivates me. I love her so much." Lisa almost cries over the phone
"You are unbelievable, Lis. You're such a good person. I'll leave you to it. See you soon okay?" Rosie says
*Phone call ends*
Rosie POV
"What the hell, Jennie!" She yells
"Rosie I am sorry. I didn't mean to do it, I know its no excuse but lately I haven't been feeling Lisa. I don't feel that she wants me anymore. She is always too busy. But V.. V has been there for me. He makes me feel needed." Jennie cries
Flashback before the phone call with Lisa
Rosie POV
Entering the bar with a couple of work friends she couldn't help but notice a familiar person.
"Its Jennie, wait guys I am just going to walk over and say hi to my friend." She told her workmates
as she was making her way through the dance floor she couldn't believe what she saw.
Jennie grabbed V's shirt and kissed him. Made out with him for a while.
"Jennie..?" Rosie says
"Ro..Rosiee... wait please let me explain." Rosie runs out and gives Lisa a call
Present Time
Jennie POV
"Rosie please don't tell Lisa. It.. it won't happen again. I promise." Jennie says
"You better make sure Jennie, I know you feel lonely but you better think about the reasons why Lisa has been busy. She doesn't deserve this. I won't tell Lisa. I will give you time to do so, but if you take too long it will come from me." Rosie says as she sees V following Jennie
"and you, how could you. Lisa trusted you. Lisa trusted her world with you and you took advantage of it." Rosie says to him in anger
"I am sorry Rosie, but I don't regret what you saw, I love her." V said
Jennie begins to cry "V please take me home, I need to talk to Lisa."
V nods, as he walks to get the car and Rosie gives Jennie one last look as she makes her way back inside
