california here we go (sequel to gas)

chapter two

when shania's mom found out she was angry. that was her natural reaction for many things, so it was accepted. 

two weeks later, she was stuffing what she could fit in the trunk of gus's car. the journey to california would be long, and she hoped that it would be amazing.

she waved back to her siblings and her mother. this was the beginning of everything.

she stepped in the passengers seat, and sighed. gus put his hand on her thigh to reassure her.

"hey, look at me."

she turned towards him.

"everything's gonna be okay, im here"

"promise?"

"yes i promise" he took her hand in his and kissed the back of her hand.

he waved goodbye to shania's family, and took off.
