Alexon and Shakespeare turn to Maniac as they hear coughing from him, and they watch as he falls to the ground coughing. The red flames of the Armor of Fury dissipating, his last layer of protection gone as Noxious walks over to stand next to him.

While Alexon wasn't looking, Shakespeare teleports away from Alexon - the sound of the teleportation making Alexon turn back. Upon noticing that Shakespeare was gone, Alexon turns to his left, where he sees Shakespeare floating far from him.

"Grand Wizard, the conversation I've had with you has truly been a blessing. It was a wonderful conversation, one of the best I will ever be honored with in my lifetime - something I'll put down in the book. But like all good things, Grand Wizard, my time here must come to an end."

Maniac turns to look up at Shakespeare, and he stretches his open right hand out for him.

"Shakespeare... save me... We can still beat them... we can still beat these Inquisitors, and show them... we're superior."

Shakespeare looks down at Maniac, and couldn't help but think about how much Maniac has fallen in such a short period of time. He then shakes his head at him.

"No Maniac, I have no intentions of fighting the Inquisition any further. Not only that Maniac, but I have no intentions of doing anything to save you."

Maniac's eyes grow in shock upon learning that Shakespeare wouldn't continue to fight, upon learning that Shakespeare wouldn't save him from the assured death that would be handed to him by the Inquisition.

"Shakespeare... why? We're both Grandmasters... of the Legion of Death... We've both fought alongside each other... we've both battled against the Inquisition together..."

"Yes, all of that did happen Maniac. However, never for a second did I ever truly enjoy fighting alongside you, never for a second did I ever like you. You were too ruthless, too much of a brute, too cocky for my taste. So much so that when I was writing about you in my book, I concluded that you had an awful character - your purpose for fighting being about stealing women for harems, and about the times where you ruthlessly raped women. Honestly, from writing about your character, I learned to develop an extraordinary hatred for you--"

"Shakespeare..."

"Therefore, I will not be saving you from the Inquisition Maniac, but instead, I'm going to allow the Inquisition to do whatever it wants with you. Whether it be to capture you, whether it be to torture you, or whether it be that they kill you. I do not care what they do with you, and I don't care to see your face ever again."

Maniac groans in anger at Shakespeare, while Alexon places his left hand on his face. Showing that he was thinking about the actions Shakespeare was taking against Maniac, and about what it meant for the Legion of Death.

"It seems that the Legion of Death, Shakespeare, is being internally brought down right now. Wouldn't you agree?"

Shakespeare nods at Alexon.

"It does seem that way, Grand Wizard. But it's not my fault, but is instead the fault of the Legion of Death. Clearly, this war is about to come to an end - one not in the Legion of Death's favor."

"So Shakespeare, are you surrendering to the Inquisition?"

Shakespeare shakes his head.

"I apologize Grand Wizard, if I caused any confusion. I have no intentions of surrendering to the Inquisition, nor do I have any intentions to continue the fight against the Inquisition. So instead of surrendering, instead of continuing to fight, I'm going to accept the defeat and disappear."
