Beep. Beep. Beep.
The alarm clock rings loud throughout the house, followed by a large thud.
There lay a bed with neatly done blankets and pillows, with a girl who lay in it. She had a deep brown hue to her hair as it's complemented by her eyes. They had a stunning brown colour that was as clear as crystal, so clear it was almost like glass. The glistening rays of the sun creek into the room, sneaking past the blinds and shining a golden light on the eyes of Nattie. The bed creaks as she sits up, observing her surroundings, attempting to wake from her slumber.
"6:30 am...too early, three hours too early."
She throws her blanket to the side, twists her body and stands up into the cold, unbearable lands beyond the warmth of the bed she once called home.
As she looks around the room one more time, she feels as though shes forgetting something...something...important.
"6:30...6...30...6...30! I need to be ready in 20 minutes!"
Her weary slumber leaves her body as shes put into a state of frenzy and panic, she races around the room attempting to find her uniform and her bag.
She scurries around the room in an attempt to find her uniform, however to no avail.
"Crap crap crap! Ahh, im gonna be late!"
With time slowly ticking down, fast approaching five minutes left, she decides to enlist a bit of help.
Her eyes light up, showing a beautiful glimmer of gold as she holds out her hand. Her hand begins to slowly light up, glowing a shining gold that would mesmerise all who see it.
Suddenly, the paper that was on the table next to her began to glow just as bright as her hand did. It began to move and change, now resembling a white shirt, then the paper underneath that began to shine a golden light, as it too moved and changed until it resembled a blue skirt.
After this, Nattie's eyes began to return to their natural colour, her hand that previously lit up the room began to return to its natural complexion. She grabbed her uniform and quickly changed into them, after which she hurriedly grabbed her bag and rushed downstairs.
As she arrives downstairs, she smells the alluring scent of toast with jam, before shes quickly snapped out of it by the voice of her mother.
"Nattie! We need to leave! Hurry up, you'll be late!' Her voice was slightly louder than usual, but bore no ill will and encouraged Nattie to hasten.
Nattie dismissed the thought of grabbing a piece of toast as she quickly raced out the door so as to not be late.
Though just before she had reached the car, she stopped and took a moment to take a look around her.
The warm golden rays of the sun, the songs the birds were making, and the cool breeze of the morning rushing through the area. But there was something else, something sinister, evil and unnatural.
Nattie quickly pushed this feeling outside of her focus and quickly jumped into the car, but she knew not what was about to happen.
