I woke up holding her in my arms. Her face was buried in my chest. Her hair was almost at my nose, so large and curly. I chuckled and smiled as I gently kissed it. I took a deep breath and felt her skin make contact with mine. Chills went down my spine as I remembered last night. All it was, was skin against skin. I bit my lip and smiled. Christine gave a soft moan.
"Morning."
She smiled up at me sleepily.
"Good morning my angel."
I placed a kiss on her forehead. She reached up and caressed my face with her fingertips.
"Gustave will be waking up soon..."
I trailed off. I had no desire to leave my place. I could sit in bed for days with Christine. But our son needed us.
"You're right."
She sighed and wiggled out of my grasp. I watched her change into a silk nightgown and robe. She caught me looking and I purred at her.
"Get dressed!"
She giggled and threw my pajama bottoms at me. I slipped them on and pulled her close to me.
"You are the most heavenly thing I've ever seen."
She blushed and I kissed her cheeks. We went to the sitting room, Gustave was still asleep. Christine had decided to start breakfast. I watched her sway into the kitchen. Her hips. God. I smiled and picked up the morning paper from outside the hallway. Nothing too interesting. I flipped through it quickly and set it down. I went to the book I had been reading while Christine was unconscious. Mr.Charles Dickens was going to be very famous one day. I smiled as I read to myself. I became engulfed in his imaginary world. The picture of a snowy London. Mr.Scrooge, a very stingy man. Christmas in the air. I sighed. Christmas was only a month away. My first Christmas with a family. I wonder what that'd be like. Gustave plowing into me shook me from my thoughts.
"Good morning to you too."
I coughed.
"Did you sleep well father!?
I did! And you son?"
I mussed his hair.
"Very well!"
He smiled brightly. The smell of bacon wafted through the air.
"Boys, wash up for breakfast!
Alright!"
I raced Gustave to the bathroom, letting him win of course. We washed our hands and made our way back out to the dining area where Christine had just finished setting the table. A fairly large breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, sausage, juice and coffee. I looked up at her in awe. I must've been reading for a long time. We all sat down and enjoyed our meal, giving Christine endless compliments.
