"Merlin! They're-"
"Dragons! Mum! Uncle Charlie's here!" Lily finished Jonathan's observation before running and shouting down the Burrow's many stairs, the arrival of the newest guest.
"Open the window for Merlin's sake!" Rose seemed to be the only teen in the room not too fixated by the scaley baby to notice it banging it's head on the glass, attempting to get in.
"I wonder which one he is? Apparently Uncle Charlie brought 3..." Hugo spoke as his sister let the dragon fly in, it swooping around their heads.
"They've got names, right?" Sanya pressed, her eyes wide at the small creature.
"That's why I was wondering which one it was-"
"Will it breathe fire?" Lilith spoke up, peering at it as it landed on James' temporary bedside table.
"Maybe, if it gets too-"
"Excited." Peter finished Susan's reply to his girlfriend's question with a laugh as, just as his Serpent sister had begun her explanation, had the dragon spluttered out a small flame.
"I want one!" Both Sanya and Lilith spoke simultaneously.
"You two with dragons? We'd all be dead in an hour." Edmund scoffed.
"Not if they handled them correctly."
"Uncle Charlie!" Lily replied gleefully, throwing herself at her Uncle, who caught her with a laugh, "Merlin, you remind me of Gin- your mum when she was younger. Won't you introduce me?"
"Oh! Yes!" Lily decided, releasing her uncle- she couldn't remember the last time she'd seen him... last Christmas? The year before?
"These are the Pevensies- Lucy, Edmund, Susan, Peter. Then that's Edm- Al- Sanya and Peters' girlfriend, Lilith."
"A pleasure to meet you all." The dragon tamer told them with a smile, looking round at the room full of teens- well, teens and young adults.
"I'm surprised you made it so early." Came from-
"Hermione!" The Dragon-obsessed Weasley spoke, turning to his sister-in-law who appeared behind him in the doorway before embracing her briefly.
"It's been a long time Charlie. But I see your time keeping's improved- it's 7:12, you're 3 minutes early!"
"3 hours too early to be awake." Sanya muttered, causing those sat close enough to hear in the cramped room to laugh.
"You ought to be getting ready, you lot." Hermione addressed the group, "5 hours until we meet outside. Al, Scorpius will be here soon, and you're to help your Grandma Molly. James, Jonathan and Peter- you three get ready quick, Arthur wants your help with the back-up gazebo. Hopefully the weather holds out, but you never know."
"I can help!" Hugo spoke up, his mother shaking her head.
"You're not getting in trouble for using underage magic to put up a gazebo! None of you are!"
"Why can't Dad do it? And uncle Ron- even uncle Charlie and-"
"Because- Oh, James, just do as you're told for once!" His aunt replied, clearly flustered with a million organisation-fuelled tasks on her mind.
"Best do as you're told." Charlie spoke smugly to his nephew once Hermione had bustled away.
"Which one is he?" Hugo finally queried before his cousin could retort, watching his uncle scoop the baby dragon up.
"Eeli. Now, you lot really ought to get ready. Not that I want to be THAT Uncle, but boys and girls- you lot split. Come on!"
There were plenty of grumbles and short farewells as the teen split.
