"It's nice here." Nice was an understatement, and Albus knew it, but he refused to use any words like 'beautiful' or 'stunning', as they were adjectives for who he was with, not where they were- and he shouldn't be thinking that way anymore.

"Yes, well, Lily mentioned there was a lake thing nearby. I didn't expect-"

"The fairies to be reflected in it from such a way away?"

She smiled slightly, shaking her head, "They're brighter than people think. Myself included, apparently."

"Well, now you know."

"Now I know."

Both teens had left the tent with their intentions set yet, on the silent walk from the garden to the lake, both had thought. And both their moods had changed.

"I was going to suggest we have sex." Sanya's blunt words even surprised HER.

"And I the same." Albus admitted, his eyes anywhere but her as he gave a defeated smile.

"But now-"

"It doesn't seem like a good idea?"

"Stop finishing my sentences! No, it doesn't. I think it'll make it even more complicated- possibly more difficult for us to stick to our choice- and I-"

"Would feel bad for Ed?"

"Stop!" She cried, not just referring to his bad habit of finishing her sentences, "Al! Just- stop. You said we broke up, so stop being so- acting so- just stop!"

"We're friends and nothing more. That's all." The youngest Potter brother spoke determined, decided, yet still he had to stop himself from reaching to hold her arm.

She was right, he had to stop.

He'd made his decision.

Sanya nodded, "Yes. And this is it? No more near kisses or anything else because I do- I do like Ed."

"No more near kisses." Albus agreed, though he, and Sanya, deep down, wished very much that this wasn't so.

"Starting tomorrow?" Sanya asked quietly half a moment later, her eyelids lowered as she gave a sheepish glance in her ex's direction. "I enjoy procrastination."

"That's one delay I can live with." Al nodded solemnly, blood thrumming under his skin as he pulled off his already undone tie.

"Have you ever-?" She asked a little later, staring deep into the Potter's green eyes.

"I haven't even touched anyone like that since we started dating, so no." Albus promised, and she gave a barely noticeable but guilty squirm. He looked away at the bank of the lake, where his jacket and shirt were laid. "Do you want to go in the lake?"

"Maybe after." It seemed there was a Russian ballerina who was doing all sorts of fancy pirouettes in Sanya's stomach as she turned her back to Al, who with shockingly steady fingers, undid the strings.

She had been right, he thought once he regained the ability of sensible thinking quite a while later.

The dress WAS very easy to get out of- or take off.

"The broom shed?" Peter shook his head- oh, the places he allowed the redhead to drag him by the hand but- oh, how easily he followed.

"I thought Arthur's shed was a little open- lots of windows." Lilith shrugged once he'd closed the door behind them, after-party celebrations sounding distant, "We can go back to the wedding if you want?"
