I was laying in bed thinking about Lei again. After what happened this morning, I feel so much closer to him. I was at the point where every time we spoke I had butterflies in my stomach. I thought I might be falling for him now...but I wasn't sure. I don't want to lose him as a friend. He is very special to me. I wanted to be near him almost all of the time. It was almost midnight I was tired. The moment I closed my eyes I heard a knock on my door. Who would be here at this time? It was almost midnight. I get up and walk to the door and open it.

Standing at the door was Lei, he had a black eye and he was shaking. 

"Lei..." I say. A tear runs down his cheek and he walks inside and wraps his arms around me and pulls me tightly against himself. I was shocked but warm and happy inside, but I was also very worried about him. I slowly leed him to the couch and I sit him down.

"What happened to you?" I ask. He was shaking. "Lei?" I ask. He was quiet. "Lei...your okay, it's just me, relax," I say softly. He nods. His tears subside and he looks me in the eyes. His eyes were full of fear. 

"That girl who came and yelled at me this morning came by and beat me up...This is so embarrassing." He says as his face falls into his hands. He looked as if he had more bruises then I thought he did. I look and see him bleeding on his side.

"Lei, your bleeding really badly on your side, we need to get you to the hospital now," I say quickly getting up. He grabs my arm and I look down to meet his eyes. "What's wrong?" I ask. He sighs. 

"I don't like the Hospital." He says softly. I shake my head. 

"Lei...did she stab you?" I ask. He nods gently and my eyes widen. He was bleeding still and he looked pale.

"Lei get up. We have no choice, your bleeding out, you could die if you don't get this treated right away." I say. I was shocked that that girl would stab Lei just because she didn't get her way. She was a psychopath. Lei sighs and stands up but he falls backward. There was a small puddle of blood on the floor where he landed from his cut. I run to my phone and quickly call 119.

After about 10 minutes, the ambulance arrives. They load Lei into the truck and I watch and with tears filling my eyes, as he looks so lifeless. I had the choice to ride in the back with him but I couldn't bear to see him in this state. It hurt, a lot. When we arrived at the hospital the doctors ruled that he had been bleeding for a solid hour and he was running out of time quickly. They had to do emergency surgery. I sat in the waiting room with tears in my eyes as the red light on the surgery room glows still meaning they were still in surgery. 

"Y/n!" I hear Shancai say as she runs over to me. I look at the floor and try to wipe my eyes dry so I didn't look as if I was crying. She was walking with Si, earlier that day after lei and I met, he and Si finally made up. Si and Shancai were now dating and it was this whole thing that was going around the school. The rest of the F4 was with them. I couldn't help but burst into tears once again.

Shancai comes over and hugs me tightly. She was so kind. I cry into her shoulder. 

"He will be okay, don't worry. Lei is a strong guy. He pushes through anything." She says. Si and the rest of F4 nod. I nod and take a deep breath. We all sit down and wait. 

It had already been an hour and Lei was still in surgery. I couldn't take it anymore. All of a sudden, a doctor walks out and wipes the sweat off of his brow quickly. 

"Is he okay?" I say jumping up. The doctor nods. 

"He's out of the dangerous stage now, he should be fine. He is still sleeping but he should be awake soon. He had a bit of damage to his brain because of blood loss but he should be okay now." The doctor says. I nod. I felt so much better now. I see them wheeling Lei out of the room and I follow them to his room. He was asleep and looked handsome as always. I give him a small smile knowing he was okay. 

When we made it to his room, the nurses set him up in his bed and then left me to be alone with him. He was still sleeping. I held his hand and brushed a piece of hair out of his face. I smiled again. He looked so peaceful. His eyes soon opened and he looked at me with squinted eyes. He slowly opened them to a full. I smile softly.

 "Hi," I say. He smiles back. 

"Hi." He responds, with a raspy voice. 

"Are you okay?" I ask. I feel a lump in the back of my throat. All of a sudden a tear rolls down my cheek. 

"I'm sorry I scared you." He says. He reaches up and wipes the tear off my cheek. I shake my head. 

"It's okay, as long as your okay," I say. He gives me a small smile with his eyes still slightly closed. "Get some rest, I will come to see you later," I say, and with that, Lei falls asleep.
