When I woke up he was gone. It had been about 4 days, It was almost as if he was never there in the first place. I was discharged for the day. I had to catch a flight back to Shanghai today. I was so excited to get back home where my parents were. I knew I would be safer there, in my parent's arms. I had gone back to the apartment I was staying in. I had already packed up everything. I began to wonder where Lei had gone. He looked as if he was headed somewhere when we first met at the bridge. 

I looked up his Weibo to see if he had one and it came up immediately. He was 24 years old and he went to Mingde University in Shanghai...where I was headed. So he went to the same school as me? I guess I never noticed him. It said he was apart of F4...which I've heard of, but I never met them and I didn't know their names. Lei was one of the most popular seniors at my school. 

I decided when I got back to Shanghai and back into school, I would try to reconnect with him and thank him for what he did. I was thankful he saved me, and I felt as if I was enough because of this, and I really liked him for that. I didn't know him very well so it was weird of me to like him.  I guess his girlfriend was the senior goddess, Jing. Jing and I used to be close, but when I got into a new department in college, we grew apart quickly and we didn't speak to each other again. I didn't want to come between Jing and Lei. My flight was in about 2 hours so I had to find something to do for those 2 hours, so I decided to call Jing and see if she wanted to meet up.

"Hello?" Jing says. "Hey Jing, its Y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to get some noodles with me and talk. I met someone and I want to learn more about him." I say. "Of course, let's meet up at that restaurant near the Eiffel tower." She says. "Sure, see you in a few," I say. I hang up. I got ready and got dressed in a nice outfit. Jing and I met up about half an hour later. She looked very pretty as usual. She had short hair now which shocked me. I didn't expect her to cut her hair since the last time I saw her she had long, beautiful hair. 

"Let's sit," I say. She nods and smiles at me. We sit down at a table and order our food. "So Y/n, its been a while, how have you been?" She asks. I smile. "Pretty good, its good to see you again," I say. She smiles again. Jing had a very contagious smile so I smiled back. "You said you wanted to know more about someone?" She asks. I nod. "I met this boy. He saved me from trying to commit suicide. His name is Lei. I saw you with him one time on the street. Are you guys like, a thing?" I ask. She pauses then slowly shakes her head.

"We used to be. Lei and I grew apart. I started going to school here for law, and I just don't have time to date. But then I met a man who is the son of the mayor of Paris and I fell in love. So I'm going to get married to him in a few months. Lei took it in a hard way, and he left, he went back to Shanghai. I guess he went and met you that night. It's good that you met him...maybe he will fall in love with you." She says. I smile with a red face. "He seems very sweet, but he just got out of a relationship so I don't want to force him into a relationship now...so I will get to be friends with him first, Then maybe we will become something more," I say. She smiles. 

"Lei used to have a small amount of Autism, he says I got rid of it, so it will be hard to let go. I think you can take him out of it Y/n, I believe you can. Y/n, save Lei, for me." She says. I nod. "I'm headed back to Shanghai in about an hour and a half. I will meet him again and I was planning to say thanks to him for saving me from losing my mind and taking away my life. I wanted to meet you one last time just in case we don't meet again." I say. She smiles. "It was good to see you again Y/n. I'm glad you wanted to meet up. Missed talking to you." She says. I smile. 

Jing and I enjoyed our noodles and talk a little bit longer. We soon said goodbye and I was headed back to my apartment to get my stuff. Once I had grabbed my bag, I headed to the airport to leave back home. I would never come back here. I didn't want to. I felt as if I was in danger here. I'm 24, but I still feel in danger and as if I can't protect myself.
