I opened up the door to my apartment, tossed my keys on the table and took my shoes off and shoved them to one side . I had just come back from work , absolutely exhausted but I had to go call my friend Harriet about something that I was super excited about yet I wasn't so sure that I should do it . I sat down on my bed , got my laptop out and then picked up my phone and called her . waiting . She doesn't answer . For fuck sake Harriet hurry up and answer the damn phone !
"Ffs hurry up !" As I said that out loud she answered and I don't think she's ever been more confused. "Stace ? You alright there ? " "omg Girl ! Finally you answer ! Yeah I'm alright, just getting stressed out about you not answering the phone that's all " she started laughing "well SORRY , Im making dinner . Anyways what do you want ?"
"Omg I didn't know , no no I will leave you alone and call you back later if you would like ?" "Don't be stupid Stace it's fine it's only pizza " "pizza ? If I was you I would just order it . You've got salad or veg to go along side it right ?"

"Typical you , what did you want to talk about then ?" I had to think for a second because I nearly forgot "ummm .... oh ! What do you think about us going on a trip to New York ?! Me and you and before you ask it's nothing work related . I have plane tickets booked already for next week " I had a spare ticket and I didn't want to waste it so why not invite my best friend too ? I had a spare ticket because me and my ex who must not be named were ment to go but obviously we arnt together anymore and I don't want to talk to him and since then I havnt bothered trying to talk to anyone else and havnt felt like it . "If you weren't lazy for once and went and spoke to people then maybe you would have found a new bf who could go with you but you havnt so have fun " I hated how she joked about it .
