The worst luck

I took my phone back out of my bag which was on the seat next to me and took a few photos whilst I had this amazing view . Insta post maybe ? Looks perfect so yeah I think so . I tried capturing the right picture and finally I had taken one that I was satisfied with ! The driver pulled up outside the building so I paid them the money .

Before I was going to go in I needed to find somewhere that I could eat because annoyingly at this point I was starving ."Do you happen to know any nice restaurants or coffee shops that are in walking distance from here ?" Tbh I didn't care what the place was like I just needed food and some tea maybe . "Theres a Good Restaurant Just down the Road to our right and there's a coffee shop round the corner opposite the Empire State Building"
Yay thank goodness "ahh thank you so much !" I put my phone in my pocket and got out the taxi and shut the door behind me and the taxi drove off . I then put the change that I had in my hand in my purse . My purse that was in my bag ..... my bag ..... omg no . I stood frozen for a second then turned around to see the taxi and had disappeared. I LEFT MY BAG IN THE TAXI ! my purse , passport , keys ! I rapidly grabbed my phone out of my pocket to go and phone Harriet to see if she knew what I could do but as I did so I dropped my damn phone on the floor . Smashed . At this point I wanted to literally scream in the streets opposite the bloomin Empire State Building in the middle of New York . I was without money (only 50p) a Passport and now a phone . This can't be happening , do I have the worst luck or something ?!
