Love in new York

A few days had past since I found out about it all . I still hadn't gotten over the fact that I won't see him again . I never will get over it .
I decided to get a few pillows and a blanket and sit on the sofa and watch a film for a bit . Half way through the film I get interrupted by my phone going off . It was a no caller ID I didn't know whether to answer it or not but I did just in case it was important. I regretted answering the phone . "Hello ?"
"Hi , Um it's Sam "
I sighed . He was the last person I wanted to talk to at the moment
"What do you want Sam ?"
"I- I'm sorry ....."
I was confused. He was sorry?
"Wait what ?"
"Im Sorry for everything I've ever done to hurt and annoy you "
Was be being serious ?! I didn't know what to say . A part of me was happy he was apologising but words mean nothing after what he's done and why now ?! Maybe he knew what happened and is trying to win me back again . I really couldn't be bothered with him at this point in time .
"It's okay , thank you for apologising but it still doesn't mean anything . Nothing will change what you did but I will take the apology into an account "
"Would you like to meet up some time soon ?"
"Now really isn't the time Sam "
"Oh yeah ... I'm sorry ... okay I will leave you alone now . Hope things get better for you " and he ended the call . I think that was one of the strangest conversations I've had with him ever .

I put my phone down and carried on watching the film to take my mind of things . That's all I've been trying to do lately . After the movie had finished I looked through what shows were going to be on soon and one of the ones I came across was strictly...... I don't think I will be able to bring myself together to watch it ever again.
It was getting late but I realised I had to do a bit of work still so I carried on with that right through till midnight . I hadn't been able to sleep properly the last few days so to be able to actually go to sleep that night was a miracle .
