*knock knock * "room service!"
I sighed . I forgot about that , should have woken up earlier . Luckily they left me alone for a while and I got up and had a shower . I didn't actually know what I was going to do today apart from trying to get myself a new phone . Woo that's like half my spending money out the window all because I dropped it on the floor. I got myself dressed , put a bit of make up on and grabbed my bag , heading out the hotel .

I walked along the streets ,yet again it was packed as everyone was trying to get to work . Probably wasn't the best time to be going out but I needed a phone rn . I needed to message Harriet . She was probably worried sick over me because I promised her that I would message her every night so she knew that I was safe. Im Not a little kid , no , but I was on my own and yet again past experiences . I got to a traffic light and waited (obviously) then I looked to my right and froze ....... at this point I was basically shaking . I wanted to run in the opposite direction and hope they he never saw me but what was he doing here in the first place ! In a complete different country AND right next to me ! Oh my god this can't be happening. I was about to turn around and head off in the opposite direction until I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned around and there I was now face to face with my ex boyfriend In the middle of New York .could this holiday get any worse ?!
"S-Sam. What do you want ?!"
He looked quite angry ." So no hello ? How are you ? It's nice to see you , then ?!"
I didn't know what to say ...."um ... hi ? P-please leave me alone "
"Absolutely not . Now that I've seen you here why don't we have a quick catch up ? Havnt spoken to you in awhile and it's quite a coincidence that we are both here at the same time isn't it ! "
I shook my head "no not really .... you knew that I was going to be here because you were ment to come with me in the first place " he knew down right well that I was going to be here , what a lier .
"Ohhh yeah I remember now . Anyways it seems like you've moved on from me"
Now I was seriously confused "what are you on about ? "
"I saw you yesterday with a guy in a cafe .It's fine but it won't stop me from trying to get you back . You looked miserable tho "
"Look Sam you've got this all wrong..... " Actually now was the perfect time to lie to him ".... you won't be getting me back because I'm happy with my new bf so I hope you have a nice life you prick " and with that I left and walked off across the street .I didn't dare look back . But I could hear him faintly shouting at me in the distance as I walked further away . Kev wasn't my bf but I need some excuse to get Sam away from me however kev is so much better than Sam in every way possible and that's the truth.

I walked into the Apple store and browsed about a bit and chose a phone that I liked . It was different from the one I had before and it wasn't too expensive so that was a bonus . I bought it and headed back to the hotel . I walked into my room and sat myself down on the edge of the bed and opened it up and set up my new phone . The first thing I did was add Kevin's phone number to my contacts and messaged him and he messaged back .

Kev: remember the little note I gave you
Stace : yeah , I've still got it ✨
Kev: good 😄 now like I said don't worry . It will all be okay x
