New pro ?

"Stacey you are now going to be partnered with a new pro that we are bringing in for the series. This is derek"

"Right ..... um hiya " I smiled weakly ;i felt quite daunted by him . So far I've all the pros have been really warm and welcoming but something just seems off about him and I've only just met him.
"Hey , what's up " he grinned and held out his hand , I shook his hand nervously.
"Is there something wrong with me ? I'm not that intimidating "
I just shook my head
"Good , I will meet you in the training room then " he walked off and I just sat down and grabbed my phone and started texting kev

Stace : kev there is a new pro

Kev: wait what ....

Stace : he's my new partner, his name is derek , British and about the same ages as you

Kev: oh okay , does he seem nice ?

Stace : that's the thing ..... I don't know how to describe him , something seems off about him

Kev: what do you mean "off " ?

Stace : you need to meet him for yourself

Kev: Ok , just see how today goes yeah ?

Stace : yeah will do , what's gonna happen with you ? Are you not getting a celeb then ?

Kev: I don't know Stace , I don't know . I can only hope

Stace : I'm so sorry about all this , it's all my fault

Kev: I've already told you , it's not your fault . Please don't worry . Wanna come back to mine once you've finished training ? Probs around 6ish ?

Stace : yeah sure , see ya then x

Kev: bye x

I put my phone away and headed to the
Room,walked in and put my bag down in the corner .
"Hey , what took you so long ?"
I lied "Sorry Just had to go and grab something quickly "
"Oh okay , it's fine dw . So the first dance we will be doing is the quickstep ! "
He ran through the dance and the concept of it . In the end he turned out to be quite a nice person . Not intimidating like I first thought in fact he was quite supportive , he didn't judge me , didn't shout at me and was very patient.
"Do you want to run through this one more time ? Then we can call it a day yeah ?" I nodded and we went through it once more . We got to the very end of the dance then part of my heels broke and I tripped over . I thought I was going to hit the floor but some how he had managed to catch me and save me from falling face first onto the floor . He helped me up and I smiled at him
"You okay ? "
"Yeah, thank you . Part of one of my heels broke though "
"Don't worry about that , we can get some new ones . As long as your okay . Didn't twist your ankle or anything did you ?"
"No luckily not , I've got some spare shoes in my bag I can use for the time being "
"Good We don't want any injuries just yet ; we can go through it a couple more times then if you want ?" I laughed and So we did exactly that . He really did make me laugh.

Kevs pov
It was about half 6 now and I had been waiting where we planned to meet but she never came . I texted her a couple of times but she didn't answer .  I started to worry , Gosh I hope she's okay maybe she's just forgotten? I don't know .....
