I woke up that morning feeling queasy. I had no particular reason. Just the fact that I had eaten bad seafood last night. That's what I got for eating seafood at Denny's. It was mediocre food as well. Definitely not worth the $15 I had spent.
I slid out of bed. The thought of walking all the way to the bathroom was terrifying to my sick body. I knew I would have to if I wanted to keep my room clear of anything coming from my stomach. It was what I had to do.
I flung my legs onto the outside of my bed. I wanted to get out of bed as fast as I could, knowing that as soon as I did, I would feel sick to my stomach even more than I already was. Once my legs were successfully hanging off my tall bed, I could feel my stomach morphing and taking all guck and trying to get rid of it. Once this feeling hit, my legs rushed. I knew the direct path I would need to take to get to the bathroom.
Sitting straight on my knees in front of the toilet, vomit began spilling out of my mouth. It was loud. Louder than I had expected it to be. Where is she? Kelly had always had a sense for sickness. Whenever I had got sick, she was there within seconds. She could tell, but she could also hear. I knew for a fact that she would have heard my gruesome noises.
10 minutes had passed and I was done. Walking back to my room was funky. I felt better, but something seemed off. I had no clue what it was. It was like I had a sixth sense for something being wrong. I giggled and thought to myself, Just like Kelly.
Right as she entered my mind, I knew I needed to check up on her. I thought about the possibilities. She could have got in a car crash, been murdered, or even got so drunk she was raped. I knew she went to a party. I went with her. I had left early since I was feeling a little strange. Kelly said she already had a ride figured out. I thought she would make it home safe.
Down the hall and to the left of my room was Kelly's room. Whenever she was sleeping, she shut her door. It was like a sign saying "Do Not Disturb".
Walking upon the door, it was shut. I thought she must have got home safely and had crashed from the long night. Partying ain't no joke. It's tiring and exhausting to have fun for hours on end. Perfect! I can go back to sleep peacefully.
Short chapter, but it's just the beginning! The next part will have more detail. I hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you so much for reading! See you in the next chapter. <3
