((Now this is a pretty upsetting chapter in my eyes. I cried while writing this, because I need to keep making this a Damian x Reader book so I had to do something with Jon. So if you are triggered to sad things or mentions of suicide, I ask that you skip to the next chapter.))

"No!" You screamed when you had to see Jon sent to the ground by his brother, Conner, and his sisters, Carol and Jane. Their father had to hold his own son down so they could put a device on him, Batman had to accompany him. All of them were sad that they had to do this to Jon, but it was for his health and for everyone else's.

Jon had snapped and something coaxed him to become evil. He had killed people and still seemed to protect you, but he was turning evil. He became a horrible terror to the cities and he wasn't the same at all. It had became to the point where he started to not remember anyone. He didn't recognize you, but he would always be way too protective over you. It had started early January and then it grew way too far. It started with him taking no mercy on criminals, then to getting triggered so easily that he would injure the innocent, and to the point where if someone made him angry that he would kill them. It slowly boiled over to him wanting to kill everyone.

Seeing your boyfriend, who had turned evil, having to be held down so he had to wear a collar to knock him out, to put his powers to an end until he could be fully trusted was heart wrenching. They even had to bring a really heavy armored truck to get him. It all just broke your heart. You were sobbing and trying to get to him. Roy, Will, and Jason were holding you back. While Damian was being held back by Dick and Tim. Damian was hurt too and didn't want to see Jon in this state.

You were sobbing and crying. "No no no!" You sobbed out.

Damian was crying a bit, and was so pissed. He never meant those words he said to him on November 2nd, that day him and Jon got into a fight after his date with you. He never meant any of it. In fact those two had made up a few weeks after. And seeing his friend scream in pain, as they had to strap the collar on, to watch Jon stop fighting, to see his friend knocked out, and being carried to an armored truck was too much. He knew you were probably hurting the most though, because you loved Jon so much.

The closed the doors to the truck and the Kent family was sad, but they knew it was for the best. They were going to try to fix Jon, but he wouldn't remember anyone though. It was almost like Jon Kent was dead and there was this stranger that looked like him was there. The truck drove off and you squirmed. You were sobbing and dropped to your knees. You were gasping for breath and shaking your head. He was gone. Roy pulled you into his chest.

"I know (Y/N). I'm so sorry." Roy whispered to you.

Dick was hugging Damian and comforting him. Both of you were heartbroken and nothing could change that.

It had only been two weeks and you still were pretty much mourning. You were in the halls of the school and were in such a depressed state. You had dark circles under your eyes, they were red from all the crying, and you were pale. Now the school knew of Jon Kent, but they didn't know he was Superboy, because Jon would wear his suit. But they knew Jon Kent. Everyone in the whole human world, was told that he was dead. Jen and Lillian would watch you, sometimes they would want to bully you... but it was like they couldn't. You had lost your smile and laughter. You were really harsh when it came to missions now. You rarely talked to anyone and Damian could tell that losing Jon had took a really huge toll on you. Like a seriously huge amount.

You opened the locker and just stared into it. You didn't want to be here anymore. The bell had rung and everyone went to their class, except you. "Why am I even here?" You whispered as tears fell down your face.

"Because someone needs you." A voice said.

You looked behind you and Damian was there. His hair was messy and his green eyes showed sadness. You looked up at him and broke into sobs. Damian pulled you into a tight embrace. Damian felt a few tears drip down his face. Damian rarely ever cried, but this time it was different. He had his chin on top of your head, while you buried your face into his chest. Your body heaved with sobs.

"I miss him so much." You said.

"I miss him too (Y/N)." He said.

"I don't even want to be alive anymore Damian."

Damian was horrified at what you just said. He shook his head. "Don't ever say that again." He said.

"He's gone. He is never going to be back and I stare in the mirror wishing that something will kill me." You said.

Damian lifted your head up. "Don't dare say that. You are needed and loved by a lot of people." He said.

"Who really needs me?" You asked.

"Your brothers, my brothers, and me. I need you to be by my side. I have already lost one bestfriend and I can't lose another." Damian said.

You looked deep into his eyes and he pulled you back into his embrace. The principal saw you two and he knew that you both had went through way too much. He walked over to you both. "You two go ahead and head home. You are excused for the day." He said.

You were relieved and closed your locker after you grabbed your bag. You had Roy drive you to school that day so you were going to walk home. Damian looked at how you were going down the sidewalk. "No... you're coming home with me." Damian said. He gently held your hand. "Come on."

You were too tired to fight. He drove you to the manor and you got out with him. This was your first time being inside of the manor. So you were surprised when finally walked in, but you weren't that interested due to how depressed you were. Damian closed the front door and the both of you took your shoes off. He watched you and there was a large soft surface that bumped into him. It made it's way to you. You stood up and felt something nudging your hand upwards. You looked down and saw a large Great Dane. You were a bit surprised at this.

"Hi." You said in a very soft voice. You petted him, which he liked, and that dog was very calm. "What's your name, handsome?" You asked sniffling.

Damian smiled. "That's Titus. He's my dog."

You leaned down and petted him a bit more. That dog started to lick your face a bit. You couldn't help, but giggle.

Damian smiled, but gently nudged Titus. "Okay okay. That's enough Titus."

Titus stopped and gave licks to Damian's hand. Damian smiled and petted Titus. He stopped and looked over at you. He took your hand in his and looked into your eyes. "Come on."

He took you up to his bedroom. He tossed his back pack on his desk chair. He told you to do the same. You did that and he sat on the bed. He motioned you to come sit by him and you obliged. He looked at you. "Please don't ever say that you don't want to be alive. There have been times I seriously thought about it myself, but I can't leave the people that I care about. And I can't lose you. (Y/N) you are the only friend I truly have right now. I miss him too."

You hugged him and cried a bit more. He pulled you into his lap and laid down with you. You two basically were cuddling each other, until you both calmed down. Damian lifted you and himself up a bit, then pulled the covers over you both. He turned on the TV to a cartoon that you adored. Both of were clinging to each other, almost as if you two let go of one another then one of you would be gone forever. Hearing Damian's heart beat and Damian's face buried into your hair, calmed the both of you. To the point that you both fell asleep.

Bruce went to check on Damian when he got home, he opened the door and saw you two laying there together. He smiled a bit and closed the door. He called Roy to let him know that you were at his house. Roy was relieved and then made an odd request. He asked if maybe you could stay a week over there, because he could tell that what was best for you was to be with a very close friend. Bruce agreed and had Roy bring some clothes and necessities over for you.

Jason and Dick went to see if Damian would want to join them in sparing. They didn't know that you were here or that Bruce agreed for you to stay. They opened the door and saw Damian on his side now, holding you close to him. There was no way that there was going to be sparing from him. Dick smiled and Jason smiled a bit too. Jason might be a bit protective, but he liked the idea of you being close with Damian. Hell secretly all the guys were hoping that you two would get together, but they didn't know about how you felt about one another.
