It's now Thursday. One whole day until the expiration date. As much as I claim to not be scared of it, it's not until the day before do I really get scared. Even though Kirishima woke me up, I contemplated even coming to school, just in case. But then I thought about it for a moment and remembered that's something Deku would do, so I went to school.

The day went by really quickly, something I would rather not happen. I would've been in a better mood if the day went by slowly. But that's asking for too much from fate.

Some people debate if we, as humans, truly have free will, or if fate has already predestined us to make the decisions we make. Which begs the question; is it even possible to escape your fate? Some people have claimed to avoid their expiration, something I find hard to believe. There are tons of sketchy websites that have information about how to avoid your expiration. I've never tried them, and I don't know anyone who has tried it. There are also even sketchier websites that claim that if you pay a certain price, they'll "prevent" your death in some way. It's incredibly expensive, but I've seen people online claiming that the websites work. I'd never personally try it, or even think about buying something like that. In my opinion, your fate is something you can't overwrite. I guess, in my opinion, we don't have any free will. That everything was planned from the exact moment you were born.

"Bakugou." a voice calls on me. I raise my head up. Aizawa Sensei called on me. Shit. I wasn't paying attention. "Do you know the answer to number three?" he asks. I look down at my paper. I haven't done any of it. "Uh-" He cuts me off. "See me after class, Bakugou. Midoriya, do you know the answer?" Great. Now I have to worry about two things. Although, I swear there was a third thing...

...

THE DATE. SHIT.

I've been so worried about other things that I completely forgot about it.

...

AND I ACCEPTED A DATE ON MY EXPIRATION DATE.

I slam my head into the desk. I don't care if the class discussion stopped. I don't care if everyone is staring at me. I want to go home. I'm tired. I wanna sleep.

So that's what I did.

~

Someone shakes my shoulder.

"Bakugou? A word?" It's Aizawa. That's right, I had to talk to him after class. I look around. Everyone seems to have either left or is in the process of leaving. Kirishima isn't here. That might be for the better.

I turn back to Aizawa. He pulls up a chair and sits in it in front of me. "So, what's on your mind?" he asks. I click my tongue. "Why should I tell you?" He frowns. "Because whatever it is, it's distracting you in class. And if you keep it up, your grades will fall. I'm sure that's something you don't want." he explains. I squint my eyes. "It's nothing. Just something that's coming up. None of your concern." I say. "Can I go now?" He sighs, closing his eyes. "Fine, but just know, Bakugou. I'm here if you need to talk." I don't glare at him, or click my tongue, or anything I would normally do. I just stare at him. I want to say something, or at least ask for some advice. I stand up and pack my stuff, then leave. No way. Then I'd look weak. I'm not weak.

The walk back to the dorm building is lonely. It's raining. I forgot my umbrella in my dorm. But I suck it up. It's my fault for not bringing one, anyways. Might as well suck it up.

I get back to Heights Alliance, drenched in rain water. People in the common area look my way, but don't say anything. I walk up my room while sneezing every now and then. Don't tell me I got sick...

I hope it's nothing bad. I still have that date tomorrow. Maybe I got some rare disease and that's what's going to kill me. Aha. Once I enter my room, I close the door and immediately strip the wet clothing off. I hate wet clothes. They stick to you, and it's a nasty feeling I've never liked. Most people probably don't like it, either. I changed into a black t-shirt and green sweatpants, then lay on the bed. Jeez, it's freezing here. I wrap myself up in some blankets. Just as I'm getting comfortable and starting to drift to sweet sleep, someone knocks on my door. Are you kidding me. You have to be joking.

I stand off the bed, but drag the blankets with me. I open the door to see Kirishima. He smiles brightly at the sight of me. "Hey Bakugou! I was wondering if-" "If it's homework, I'm not helping you again. We stayed up for hours." I cut him off. He laughs a little. "It's not homework, actually. I wanted to know if you wanted to watch a movie with us downstairs!" I raise my eyebrows. He nervously laughs. "I know you don't like hanging out with the others, but could you at least sit with them? They're all kind of worried about what happened in class today, with you all zoned out." They're worried about me? Why?? I sigh. "Fine." I step out of the room and close the door behind me. Kirishima smiles. "Alright! Let's go!" He starts making his way to the elevator. This is gonna suck.

When we arrive in the common room, almost everyone is there. I guess some people prefer spending their time alone. I wish I could be one of those people right now. Kirishima pulls me to an empty couch that we sit on. "Hey, Bakugou actually came!" Raccoon Eyes yells. Everyone turns to me. "Yeah, got a problem with that?!" I yell back. She doesn't seem fazed at all, mostly because I yell at her a lot. "Bakugou, just watch the movie. No need to be an angry, feral dog." Half and Half says. I attempt to go and fight him, but Kirishima holds me back. "Say that to my face, Daddy Issues!!" He smiles. "Joke on you, I have no father. At least not in my eyes." I sit back down, back against the very back of the couch. "Ok, edge lord." I mutter. Round Face silences us. "Shhh! We're playing the movie now!" she complains. The movie starts playing. It's a goddamn Disney movie. A bowl of popcorn is handed to me by Kirishima. I'm not really hungry, though.

~

Towards the middle of the movie, a few people fell asleep. The majority of us were awake, though. We decided to pause the movie. Can't believe I willingly watched half of The Little Mermaid...

"Let's play a game!" Raccoon Eyes suggests. I sigh. I know where this is going. She plays some game where she can match make all of the people she sees fit together as couples. Another example of how she thinks she's cupid. Everyone groans along with me. We all know what she's doing. "I don't like any of your games." Dunce Face groans. "Yeah, you always either try to hook people up or make them do something illegal." Soy Sauce adds in. Raccoon Eyes shrugs. "I can't help it! What should we play?" Everyone thinks for a moment. "... Can we play 'Bakugou goes back to his room and sleeps'?" I sarcastically say. Some people snicker. "No, if I have to play, you're playing, too." Kirishima says. Raccoon Eyes jumps up to her feet. "I know! How about Seven Minutes in Heaven?" Everyone groans again. Yeah, no. "But don't you rig that game...?" Deku asks. Raccoon Eyes nervously laughs. "Aha, I have no idea what you're talking about, Midoriya!"

Despite all of us protesting, Raccoon Eyes somehow drags us into the game. She may have locked some doors. We use an empty soda bottle to spin. We all sit in a circle around it. "Alright, does everyone know the rules?" Raccoon Eyes asks. Everyone nods except for Half and Half. "Of course you don't know how to play. You don't even know what a concert is called." I mumble loud enough for him to hear. "Don't worry, I'll explain. Basically, you spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on has to go in a closet with you. Then you guys make out for a full seven minutes!" Racoon Eyes explains. I really don't want to do this.

As we start playing, I grow more and more anxious. It's starting to get kind of close to midnight, too. Something I wasn't planning to stay up until. Kirishima notices my anxiety rising. He leans over to me. "Wanna escape with me?" he whispers into my ear. I nod my head. Kirishima smiles and turns to Raccoon Eyes. "I'm gonna use the bathroom." he says. She squints her eyes and gives him an evil grin. "Not so fast, Kirishima. I know what you're up to. You're escaping." she states. Kirishima nervously laughs. "W-What gave you that idea??" She shakes her head. "Tsk tsk tsk, that's no good. As a penalty, you and Bakugou have to go in the closet now." she says, pointing to me. "Uh, no, hold on I'm si-" "Don't care, GO!" She cuts me off. I was going to mention that I might be sick, just as a last resort to get us out of this situation.

Next thing you know it, Raccoon Eyes is dragging the both of us to a closet and locking us inside.
