Well shit.
I'm locked in a closet. With Kirishima. For seven whole minutes.
We stare at each other for what feels like hours. I decided to break the silence.
"What time is it?" I ask. I left my phone in the other room. Kirishima pulls out his phone and checks the time. "12:18" I frown, leaning my body against the wall behind me and sighing. "Something wrong? You've been off all day..." Kirishima asks sadly. I don't really want to talk about it, but I probably should. It'll get it off my chest, or whatever they say.
"I..." I trail off. It's dark, but I can still see Kirishima's outlines. He tilts his head, confused. "I'm just... nervous." I say. "About what?" he asks. "About... the date tomorrow." I lie. I can't bring myself to admit I'm scared of dying. Plus, he's really excited about the date. I can't dip on him this late into the week. I've had the entire week to cancel.
Kirishima smiles. "Aw, is that it? You got nothing to worry about, bro!" I smile back at him, much to his surprise. Whoops. Didn't mean to do that. "DID YOU JUST SMILE?!" He yells. "No!! You're seeing things, maybe your shitty hair is making you dumber!!" I growl back. He giggles. "Ok, Bakubro..." he says as he looks away. I tilt my head. "You asked me on a date and you still call me bro?" I ask. Kirishima looks up. "Well, what do you want me to call you, then?" he asks. Then the awkward silence returns. I... I dunno."Well, um..." I stutter out. Think, think... I blurted out the first thing I thought of. "Katsuki. You can call me Katsuki." WAIT NO- "First names?" Kirishima asks. I nod my head. NOOOOO- He smiles brightly. "Ok! You can call me Eijirou, then!" Actually, this might not be so bad...
"So, Eijirou, what movie are we watching tomorrow?" I ask. "Oh, I was gonna let you choose." he responds. I think for a moment, then have a great idea for a movie. "I've got an idea, but it's a surprise." I say grinning. Kirishima groans and I pull my phone out to buy the tickets online. "Aw come on! Tell meeeee!" I shake my head as he continues to pester me about the title. "You've got a surprise, so I get to have one, too." I'll buy the tickets when we get out of here. Kirishima groans. "Fine. Make sure you buy the tickets online, though. Just in case." I nod my head.
Suddenly, the door opens. Raccoon Eyes is on the other side. She clicks her tongue. "Dammit, you guys didn't even kiss or anything. We heard you talking the whole time." She shakes her head. "Guess we'll have to lock you guys back up-" I raise my hand and blow the hinge of the door off. "Now we can't close the door. Too bad." I say as I step out of the closet, dragging Kirishima by the wrist. I bring him back to my room.
We hung out in my room for a bit until we started getting tired. It's almost three a.m. We weren't doing anything crazy, just playing Minecraft on my Xbox. Kirishima yawns. "You wanna go to sleep?" I ask. I'll admit, I'm hella tired. I normally go to bed at eight. So I'm totally messed up right now, sleep wise. Kirishima nods. "... Yeah, kinda." I save the game and turn off the Xbox. I walk over to my bed, but Kirishima is still sitting in front of the TV. What the hell is he doing? I walk back over to him, only to realize he's asleep sitting up. Weirdo...
I pick Kirishima up bridal style and bring him to the bed. It's big enough, so I get under the covers with him. What? You think I'm gonna let him use my first name and then sleep on the floor?? I drift off to sleep.
~
I woke up the same way I did yesterday, only this time an alarm woke me up. Must be Kirishima's phone.I reached over to the night stand and hit the stop button, which stopped the god awful noise. I hear groaning coming from Kirishima. I ruffle his hair. "Wake up, Kiri." I whisper into his ear. He shifts in the bed, looking up to me. He smiles tiredly. "Hey Suki..." he murmurs. I laugh a little. "Suki? What's that supposed to mean??" He groans again, sitting up. "... I dunno. I just thought of it now. I like it." he says. I'm not complaining.
I stand up to get ready for school. "You should go back to your room to get ready." I suggest. Kirishima nods, rubbing the tiredness from his eyes. He stands up as well and walks towards the door. "I'll see you in a few!" he says, smiling. I nod as he closes the door. The room feels so empty without him.
I get myself ready for school and pack my stuff into the bag, then make my way into the hallway. Kiri was already waiting for me outside the room. He waves to me, and we make our way to the school building. We make small talk as we make our way there. Although, I can't stop reminding myself that I could die today, and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

We're in our hero course class. We're doing some sparring with our quirks. I was mostly worried about this class all day, because it's usually the most dangerous. Thankfully, I got put against Ponytail. She's pretty powerful, but against my quirk, she can't do a whole lot. The fight ends pretty quickly, with her forfeiting very fast. Most of the fights were still going on, though, so we just watched with another group. She turns to me unexpectedly. "So, what are you and Kirishima?" she asks. My eyes widen. How'd she even know?? Was she in the common room without me realizing it last night?"Wha- What do you mean, Ponytail??" I growl. She holds her hands up in defense. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to come off as rude! I was just wondering, since you guys were in the closet together last night..." I squint my eyes at her. "You're dating Headphone Jack, right? You guys weren't a thing until the end of your first date, or whatever." I say, pointing to the screen with Headphone Jack on it, fighting Tail Guy. She shrugs. "Well, it could be different for you two." I shake my head. "Whatever... I'm not really sure, though. Like, he calls me by my first name. What does that mean?" I ask. God, now I'm getting advice from people. "Oh! Well, that's a step into the relationship territory. What else do you guys do?" she says. I think for a moment. "Uh... We slept in the same bed for two nights in a row." A confused look grows on her face, but she pushes the statement aside. "Well, that's another step into relationship territory. Are you sure you guys aren't dating??" she asks. "I don't know, that's why I'm asking you!!" I growl. She takes a few steps backwards while laughing nervously.
I look back to the screen Kirishima was fighting Emo Bird, except he wasn't there. Huh? I hear someone's loud voice in the background. I guess the fight ended. "Oh look, there's Kirishima. Should I ask him?" Ponytail asks. I click my tongue. "I don't care." I say as I walk away from the conversation. I'm tired... Maybe I can take a nap before the date. But what if I die or something in my sleep...? No, I'm starting to sound like stupid Deku. Deku's stupid, and I'm not stupid.
I lean my body on a wall away from everyone else. It seems like a few more groups have finished their sparring. I decide to zone out while I wait for the other extras to finish. Now that I think about it, today hasn't really been dangerous in any way. The most dangerous thing I've done all day was probably that sparring, and maybe lunch, simply because Dunce Face was being stupid, as per usual. But we're all pretty used to that now. I guess the real struggle will be making sure I'm not in any danger while on the date with Kirishima. Actually, what is Kirishima's expiration date? Maybe I'll find out during the date. For now, I just have to wait until then.
~I'm back in my dorm room. Kirishima told me to get ready as soon as possible, and then we can go to the movie. I already bought the tickets online yesterday, so we're all set with that. Now, what should I wear? I scan my closet for an outfit. We're going to the movies, then getting ice cream or whatever, then whatever the surprise is from Kirishima. So I should probably dress casually. I pull out some ripped blue jeans and a black t-shirt. I slip on an orange and white jersey jacket on top. I put my fully charged phone into my pocket and made my way to the front gates of UA, where Kirishima said to meet up.
