"Taehyung, can I speak to you privately?" Jungkook whispered against his ear.
Taehyung got a shiver down his spine. He hadn't had Jungkook so close to him before and the feeling was...different.
"Uh, sure." He replied trying to play it cool.
"Come on." He told holding his hand and leading him away from Jin and Hoseok who were making out to even notice them gone.
"Kai won't mind lending us a room." Jin quietly murmured against Hoseok's ear. Hoseok simply smiled and nodded.
"Alright, this way." Jungkook grinned walking down a hall.
One of Kai's employees was standing there supervising the hallway. Jungkook simply waved and walked right by him.
Taehyung shrugged a little fascinated that Jungkook got by so easily. But in all reality who didn't know Jungkook?
"You really like holding peoples hands don't you?" Taehyung asked.
"Mhmm," he responded timidly. He hoped that Taehyung hadn't notice that his hand was sweaty.
"Where are we—"
Jungkook opened up a closet and Taehyung raised his eyebrows even more confused. "Have a seat!" He beamed taking a seat himself but not before turning on the light.
"Uhhh..."
"And close the door, please."
"Alright. Two males sitting in criss cross applesauce position in a closet. Ironic? I think not."
"It's quiet in here and I needed quiet to speak to you."
"Okay, okay, not judging. Yo, this is a huge closet. Like I could live here." Taehyung admired as he reached to grab a silky cloth hanging from a hanger above him.
"Mhmm. Now look!" Jungkook giggled excitedly as he took out a piece of folded cardboard from his pocket.
Taehyung glanced down and took it from his hand. Red Hibiscus R3. It read. He looked at Jungkook with a frown.
"Are you mocking me?" He asked a bit annoyed.
"No! No, I just...did you read what it said? It's a piece from a hair dye box."
"Uh huh. I'm aware of that, but why are you giving it to me? Is this one of the 'you need to confront your fears' type of thing? Because you do know that I cannot see the color in this, right?"
Jungkook nodded a bit embarrassed, "I-I-well it's easier if you just smell my hair." He said scooting closer to him.
"Umm, this is getting a bit weird. I think we should get back-"
"I dyed my hair red. For you."
Taehyung froze and his eyes widen a bit. "You did?"
"Yes, smell, it still smells like dye. Jin taught me how to do it. I told him and Yoongi not to mention anything about it at the party until I spoke to you."
At first Taehyung was hesitant, but when Jungkook leaned over he took a sniff. It was hair dye for sure.
He remained silent suddenly feeling nostalgic. The act itself was so heartwarming it could bring Taehyung into tears.
"I did it because you said you weren't brave enough to do it. You said you were afraid you wouldn't be able to see the color. I've always been afraid to mess with my hair and Yoongi can confirm that. But, I did this for you. I was brave for you. I hope I can bring the color red to life and that you will be able to visualize it just like your mother described it to you."
