Chapter 4: The Prison Castle

Napoleon
We stop to camp for the night and I didn't demand for anything because I was too tired to say anything. Instead,I fell fast asleep on my sleeping bag while Mozart and Shadow hunted for food for the morning.

By the time I woke up,it was still night and they still weren't here. I set up everything for them,but they're not- oh. Sorry,they're here. Mozart sleeps across from me while Shadow is a wolf and sleeping like a dog,which is fine by me(Napoleon likes dogs. Which means he likes dogs now,too). I smile and I fall back on my bed and sleep for the rest of the night.

In the morning,I smell pancakes and bacon,with some waffles. I see Mozart cooking it and I see Shadow-still a wolf- eating fresh meat that she,maybe,killed on the hunt last night.

"Wake up,Napoleon!" Mozart says happily. I don't know why,but I groan and I sit up and rub my eyes saying,"What is it,Amadeus?" "It's almost time for breakfast,you do want some,don't you?" I stand up and I say,"Um...Mozart? I think you're burning the bacon." He looks back and he says,"Oh crap! Get dressed ,Bonaparte. We have a lot of things to do today."

I get dressed in my military outfit and I go to the table(it's like the TARDIS;the tent is bigger in the inside than on the outside;or like Harry Potter,too) and eat my plate of bacon and pancakes;no waffles,I'll have them later.

Then,we pack up everything and it disappears in front of us. "Woah!" He says. "It what happens when we're in adventures,Mozart. It disappears. Because of Sephrinas powers,we have a little bit,too." Shadow says to him. She turns back into herself and we walk towards the castle...

Shadow
We walk along the sand in the desert thinking about our other friends that are still in the tropical forest. Let's hope we see them along the way.

A few hours later,we started to see the castle from the ground. We saw how big it was and what was it doing in a desert like this. We finally made it to the big iron gate and we opened it,but it's locked. Napoleon tries to open the door but he says,"It's locked!" "No duh!" I said to him,saying it like he is an idiot-which he is-.

I looked at the key in my hand and I walk up to the door,push the key in there,and opened the gate. The inside of the gate walls is so scary,but cool at the same time.

I wonder what's in here I say in my mind. I use the key again on the brown,pale door and it opened! Inside was so dark that we couldn't see anything. "Lumos!" Mozart said. And the candlelight floated over our heads.

We walk along the dusty,old floor watching our steps as we noticed them at all of the stairs are going to be creaking every time we go downstairs.

We try to go upstairs,but we noticed there isn't an upstairs. It's just an underground castle. "This is an underground prison." I say out loud. They nod their heads saying they knew it already. "It's just an illusion." Mozart says. "It looks like there's an upstairs,but it's really an underground palace." Napoleon says.

"When have you-" "SHH!!" Napoleon says. We hear a creak coming from behind us and we see a shadow. We all turn around and it's...

Another Demon.

We start to run for our lives when more demons come in front of us. We step back but,they're now behind us.

"Were surrounded!" Napoleon says to us. They circle around us,leaving us nowhere to run.

I look at the ground trying to find something useful to stop these monsters. I notice something shining from my eyes and I see a vortex manipulator and I put it in my hands. I noticed it's glow and I found a switch towards me and I put the vortex manipulator on.

Messing with the buttons,I found one that says *ACTIVATE SWITCH* I pressed that button and the switch beside me turned from off to on. The lights came on and the demons disappear .

"I guess they don't like the light at all." I say,laughing out a little. "Why are you laughing?" Napoleon says. He looks at my vortex manipulator and says,"Don't you dare! I swear to God if you press that button I will-" "Bye,boys!" I say,then I slam my palm on the green button and I vanished from them.

Mozart
"Scare Bleu!" He yells out. He takes off his generals hat and throws it on the ground. He stands there looking mad about what Shadow just did. I look at him and I say,"She'll come back. I swear she will."

He looks at me with his face still angry and he shouts at me saying,"What is wrong with you? Saying that she will come back?! She never will in a million years!" "Oh lord Jesus!" I shout at him. "Can you please stop getting mad over everything?!" "No! She will never come back...you saw her face. You saw her face grinning at the both of us. Saying "bye boys" and then...she vanished. This is outrageous!" "For Gods sake!" I say to him. "Will you please shut up?!"

I stop to breathe and he just picks up his hat and walks back upstairs. I stop breathing hard and I run towards him saying,"Can you please wait?" "No! I'm leaving,just like she did!" He opens the door and then I shout out,"I CANT LOSE YOU!!"

Napoleon
He shouts at me saying,"I CANT LOSE YOU!!" I look back at him and my face turns from an angry face to a sad,worried face.

I see him starting to cry saying,"Please..I almost lost one,I can't almost lose another one." Then,he puts his hands on his face to wipe away the tears and I put my hand on his shoulder saying,"I didn't know you cared about me this much."

I decided there's only one thing left to do. I hugged him and he hugged me saying,"Stay...please stay." I look at him and I say,"Okay,I'll stay but only if-"

Shadow appears in front of us and says,"Dammit! This piece of crap won't work- oh,hello,again." We look at her and she says,"Well,I will never trust a technology like this one again." She throws the vortex manipulator to the floor and says,"Well,let's continue on,shall we?"

We keep continuing on towards the very bottom of the castle. It's very much like prison. But...we see a chest. A golden one to be exact and we look down at it with me saying,"Wow! We found treasure! We're going to be rich!"

We opened and we found nothing,but a piece of paper. I took it and it said:

In order to find what you are looking for

Figure out these clues to your new destination.

Here's your first one,weary traveler:

Find a woman

With remarkable intelligence

That lives between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock

That's away from this world

This doesn't make any since I say in my head. Then... I noticed it wasn't a clue it was a riddle.

"That lives between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock? How can anyone figure this out?" Shadow says.

"I don't know..." I say. "But...we might know someone who might."

We take the paper and run out of the castle and for the rest of the way,we walk back towards the tropical forest...
