Chapter 72: Rescue Attempt

The morning comes really quick as the sun rises up from the windows. The sun blinds my eyes but I look down and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I wake up with Sephrina in my arms from last night,and I kiss the back of her neck,making myself smile at her scent that is still on her. Her face is on my chest and she's laying on top of me,making me smile at her sleepy face. It's so peaceful and so cute like a little baby,I swear.

I gently get up from the bed without trying to wake Sephrina up. I walk over towards the closet and bring out my cloak and put it back on. I hate it when I show parts of my skin that I don't like to show to people,but Sephrinas the first one that I have ever done this to.

As I open the bedroom door,I see Sephrinas body laying on the duvet and snuggling up one of the pillows. I just want to go back in there and lay back down with her,but I think she needs someone than me that can do that. Oh,fuck it.

I go back into bed and put my arms around her,making her head go back to my chest. She smiles slightly and I whisper,"Good morning,darling." She opens her eyes and says,"Good morning." She yawns and stretches,then she hugs me and I laugh at her movements. I try to get off the bed but she says in her sleepy voice,"Stay here. I'm not done with you yet." "But,I have to. Come on." "No. Stay here. Mmm..." She keeps ahold of me and I just sigh and give up.

I go back to the bed and I look at her;How does she get more beautiful when she's in bed and wakes up with crazy hair but still looks like a complete angel?

She holds on to me like I'm going away forever...and I smile. I touch her hair and I brush it with my fingers. Everything about her is so fragile...if she breaks...the whole entire Universe breaks. So,I'm here to make sure that she doesn't break apart from her separation from Napoleon.

Her arms are strong around my body and I'm surprised by this. It's like her son...wait. She got this from her son? Wow...that's...isn't his nickname Hercules? Oh...her brother is named Hercules and his strength went with her and Edward took it and it became his superpower...now I get it. She got it from her brother...nice!

She puts her hands on my cheeks and she kisses me on the lips. I kiss her back and I push her gently back on the bed and it turns back into a make-out session. Her hands graze my hair and it makes me shiver with happiness and joy. I put kisses all around her face and she just giggles as I put my hands on her waist and keep on kissing her on the lips.

"Stop it,Axel!" She laughs as I tickle her on her stomach. "Stop...STOP!! Hahaha!" She screams out laughing and I can't help but laugh along with her. "Stop,please!!" "Fine." I let go of her and I fall down beside her. She smiles and breaths like all of space just came here and sucked up all of the oxygen in the atmosphere. "You're so...why are you looking at me like that?" I pout at her and stick my tongue out at her. "Stop being so mean,Sephrina. Meany...you never let me have any fun. " I do too! It's just...you almost left me in the bed and I wasn't having any fun with that."

"I have just one question." "Yes?" I grab a pillow and I smack her with it. She looks at me with a grumpy face and smacks me with another pillow. "PILLOW FIGHT!!" She shouts at the top of her lungs.

A few hours later,I ask her again as we lay down on the couch together,"I have just one question?" "Yes?" She tells me again. "Are you happy here or do you want to leave and try and rekindle things with Bonaparte?" "That son of a bitch...he needs to apologize to me...ME! I don't need to apologize to him! If he wants to apologize,he better come here and-"
