Chapter 5: The Riddler

Sephrina
I look outside to see if they came back and as I went back towards the tent,I feel a warm hand on my shoulder and it touches my cheek and it makes me turn around and i see Napoleon right in front of me.

Hello,Sephrina!"
He says happily. He picks me up and spins me around in the air saying,"We've missed you,Sephrina." "I've missed you,too." I said to him,then he puts me down and Mozart comes to me and holds my hand saying,"We've got something to tell you...where's Red and Scarlet?" "They're still catching Pokémon and are trying to avoid the demons." "Oh. Well,can we come in?" "Yes. Yes! You may,come. I've made lamb." "Oh...Lamb!" Napoleon says. Shadow touches his ears so hard it makes him scream. "Ay yi yi! What the hell,Shadow?!" Napoleon screams. She laughs at his screaming and goes inside the tent.

The tent is like what they have:bigger on the inside than in the outside.

They talk about their short adventure and how they got attacked by demons and how they found a castle that was a prison.

They show me a piece of paper and I read it to myself and I say,"Between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock...what is this? Some kind of riddle?" "It actually is and we found this in a treasure chest deep underground under the castle." Mozart says. "Hmm..." I say out loud.

I hear a voice coming from outside and I see...
The Riddler.

The Riddler
Let me introduce myself...I'm the Riddler,one of the best criminals that tries to outsmart Batman. But...there's someone else I'm trying to outsmart...and I demand to do so.

I broke out of the asylum and I got teleported here. But...in the prison castle. I grin brightly saying,"This is brilliant!" I get out a piece of paper and a pen and write out my riddle.

I go down the stairs extremely quick,like my riddles. I find a chest,a treasure chest.

I open it and out loud I say,"This will make me rich,so rich. Ha! Here we are!" I get all of the treasure and put the piece of paper in there.

I run back upstairs and look at this place. "Just look at this place! It's beautiful! But...it will be more beautiful when I make it my own lair. Do you hear me,Batman? I've outsmarted you,again! Oh...if only they can see me now."

I run out of the door and I see three people. They look like treasure hunters,or bounty hunters. "Trying to get me,eh?" I whisper to myself. "Heh. Nice try." I laugh,an evil laugh and I see a back door.

But...before I do that,I use the lever that's in the wall and pull it towards the off button. I pick up my question staff(or something like that) and I run to the back door. The last thing I see is some monsters with red eyes that appear out of nowhere. Even I don't know who they are,but I don't really care.

I shut the door just in time,because the three come in the castle. "They will finish them off." I say.

I walk towards a forest,a tropical forest.

The person that I'm looking for is a woman with remarkable intelligence that lives between 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock(that's where my riddle comes from)and they don't know...all I do is watch as they figure out the castle and defeat those monsters. "Hmm...they're smarter than those red eye things."

I'm in the tropical forest and I hear people talking. I hear one who's name is Napoleon. Who is he? I riddle it out and I find out it's him. "Ohh. Perfect! Who else? Mozart and Red. Hmm... and three other people. Shadow,Scarlet,and a woman named Sephrina. Sephrina,an Ancient Goddess name I guess." I walk towards saying to myself,"Interesting. I'll find out who she really is."

She looks at me with her eyes wide open and the others just come out and look at me with confused eyes. I grin widely at them and I say,"Hello. Do you know who I am?" Before they try to speak I say,"Don't bother. I know you guys know me so let's make a conversation. Who are you? Wait. I know who you guys are...but,who are you,my dear?" I say to Sephrina.

Sephrina has these eyes that could brighten even the littlest heart. She says,"I'm...Sephrina." She fake smiles and I just go along with it. I take her hand and she gets this cold feeling.

I know how she feels. But...as I touch her hand,her hands turn from a warm touch to a cold one. Hmm...I wonder what's going inside her tiny little head.

"I already know who you are,Riddler." She says to me. "Hmm... you're smarter than I thought you would be." I mutter under my breath. "What?" She says. "Nothing." I say.

She continues saying,"Why are you-" "Because I invited myself here." "What?" She says "Wait-" I let go of her hand and I go inside the tent. They follow me and I just eat whatever is left out. "You are insane." Napoleon says. "He's suppose to be." Shadow says,"He's the Riddler. Get it?" "No." "Okay. Let me tell you this. The Riddler is a mad,psychopathic person who uses riddles to try and trick us all into falling for his traps." "Really?" Napoleon says. "Yes." Scarlet says. "Even though I'm a Pokémon person,I know a lot about the Riddler,too." I just look at them and with my mouthful I say,"That's me."

"YUCK!" Mozart says. "How can you eat like that?" "I saw you eating like a pig earlier." I say to him. He whispers to Red saying,"He's not only a madman,he is a stalker." "Who are you calling a stalker?" I say,walking up to him. I'm inches from his face when I say,"I'm not just a stalker...I'm the Riddler and I will be your greatest enemy for all time." "But,what about-" Sephrina starts to say,but I interrupt her saying,"I'm over Batman...he can go wherever he please,but my new enemy is...you,my dear." I say. I put my hand on her chin,forcing her to look up at me. "And I will outsmart all of you,and beat you until you're dead. D-E-D." I take my hand off of her and I walk out. I hear Napoleon shout out,"THATS NOT HOW YOU SPELL DEAD ITS D-E-A-D!"

Napoleon
I get confused at his spelling and I shout,"THATS NOT HOW YOU SPELL DEAD ITS D-E-A-D!" That's when Shadow punches my arm saying,"That's suppose to be funny,you idiot. You're such a party pooper."

We go back to our stuff and figure out the riddle made by this "Riddler".

"He's talking about the coordinates of the planet. 9 degrees west and 3 degrees north of us." Sephrina says to me. It's just me and her at the study room. We look at maps of this world and I say,"How about Zina or this place umm... Gyophous(Gi-ofous)?" I say to her. "Hmm...I think it is one of those." She says to me. "What if we fail this,Sephrina? I mean...it could be a little amount of time before we get attacked by the demons or the Riddler." She holds my hand and says,"Even if we do fail this,we will still have the Ultimate Adventure." I smile at her and she smiles at me.

We hold hands and walk back towards the group saying,"We figured it out." "That you're dating now?" Mozart says,smiling at me. "No! I mean...no. The riddle." I say,trying not to hurt her feelings. But,she seems cool with it. "So...where are we going?" Shadow says. "Gyophous" She says.

Then,we all pack and take everything with us. But,as usual,it disappears.

Now...this is where our Ultimate Adventure can truly begin.
