Title credit: Panic! At The Disco
"It's time." Jess said rather sadly.
I glanced at the clock, sighing. "I guess it is."
She stood and led me out of my seat. We grabbed our coats and walked into the living room. "It'll be hard to say goodbye." She murmured.
"Yeah. Lets just get out of here, or else I'll be too sad to." I gave her a tiny smile and we left the empty apartment for the last time.
"Are you sure about this? It's a big change." She linked her elbow with mine.
I nodded. "I'm sure."

"Red hair..." I whispered, feeling my hair. The big change? Red hair.
"Goodbye blue hair..." Jess was almost in tears, looking at my new hair color.
"You... like it right?" Emma the stylist asked nervously. She was a young girl who hasn't worked here long, she had an innocent look about her.
"Of course! Thank you so much. I love it." I stood and gave Emma a hug. Jess kept staring at my hair nostalgically. I had to snap her out of it to drag her out of the salon.
"This is so weird." I said, looking at my feet as we walked down the sidewalk.
"Yeah. New place, new hair, new jobs, new... everything."
"Hey, I told you about my cover of yeah boy and doll face getting five-hundred views right?"
"No, that's amazing! You're totally gonna be famous."
"No," I smiled with a slight blush. "It's not much. Hey I'm gonna go call Alex."
"Tell him about the video!" She held my hand to stop me.
"No, it's really nothing. Not like it's gonna go anywhere, anyways."
