lamai taru and kusa xian

Lamai and kusa were from prominent vampire families. Kusa's was from the educational side and lamai was on the governmental.
There parents kept them paired since they were 10. Now they were in there 20s and they came out has a couple being together for a year.
They both couldn't stand the other.
Lamai was on the bed laying on her side doing exactly what her mother told her to do, sleep with kusa.
When they were in the act she did something forbidden. They drank each others blood, but it didn't live up to the hype.
She didn't feel a thing.
Kusa laid to his back to the wall, looking forward, eyes narrowed. He felt nothing has well.
Vampires were suppose to not want to leave the other when they did such a thing but it didn't work.
Only thing he wanted was to get away fron her.
Lamai looked to her clock and she got up.
Going to her dresser she got dressed.
Kusa couldn't even.look at her.
She looked down has she buttoned her shirt.
"Do i need to tell you not to speak a word to anyone after what we did?"
Kusa scoffed.
"Your not important enough to get into trouble over."
He then got up to bend over to get his clothes.
Has he left she turned to the side with a deep growl erupted from her chest, her eyes narrowed.
2 months past without them speaking.
She was in her office leaned over her desk when kusa came in putting a letter under her face. He leaned himself to the side.
Lamai looked at the paper and straightened up putting her hands to the edge.
"You've got to be joking."
"I don't joke."
Her eyes went up to his.
"I have not been pulled into this drift. I am not going to have a child."
"Lamai, you and i are from prominent families we have to keep our species going."
"Go find someone else. You and i have to come to the realization we dont work. I already have bed about 3 different men in the last 2 months."
Kusa put his arms over his chest.
"I've bedded 5."
Her eyes narrowed then she looked down to the paper then back to him.
"Then why?"
"I told you why. If you do this. Give me a child and ill give you the one thing i know you want."
"This is that important to you."
He nodded.
Lamai didn't ever want to have children nor did she want to spend 9 months in the hospital getting pumped with all those drugs to make her uterus come alive.
However, what kusa was offering was well worth it.
"Once born. Do i have to...?"
Kusa shook his head.
"No. I'll take it. You don't have to do a thing."
She nodded.
Then she put up her hand waiting for a hand shake.
"Will you give me exactly what i want?"
He nodded and he took his hand up to shake hers.
9 months later
Lamai was laying in a hospital bed barly there mentally.
The amount of drugs they had to pump into her made her mind blurry.
A nurse walked to her to rub her stomach.
"Hmmm shouldn't be long."
Lamai lolled her head to the side.
"Can i get a c section? I want this thing out now!"
The nurse shook her head.
Lamai then put her hand to her stomach, she felt a kick, oddly she smiled.
Then she quivered. Blood exploded everywhere. The nurse turned her head to yell over her shoulder.
Then the doctor rushed in, they put her legs up in stir ups.
"Ms. Taru you need to push."
She did just that with grunts.
"Ms. Taru do you want to hold your son after..."
The nurse asked but it hung in the air when lamai gave her a death glare.
"His father is out there take it too him."
The nurse nodded.
After a few grunts he was born. He didn't cry.
She leaned her head back. They stopped the drugs then pumped her with blood.
Kusa then came in to be handed the baby.
His head cocked to the side.
"Shouldn't he be crying?"
The doctor stood up.
"Usually our kind doesn't."
Lamai oddly then looked to kusa holding the baby.
"I want it's name to be tharn."
Kusa looked the baby up and down.
"Why?"
"Let me hold it."
Kusa looked to lamai questionally.
Her eyes narrowed.
"I'm not keeping it just....."
Shrugging he gave her tharn.
They glared at each other.
She brought her hand up to run her finger from his forehead to the nose.
His eyes turned blue but didn't make any facial expressions.
Lamai rolled her eyes.
Then she looked up to kusa to shove the baby into his arms.
Kusas eyes narrowed has she crossed her arms over her chest.
"You Might have him for life but i will be Around. Now get it out of here."
She then turned her head.
Kusa strengthened up and left.
Lamai closed her eyes.
"Nurse?"
"Yes?"
"When will these drugs be out of my system?"
"Hmmm in a few minutes."
She nodded.
Good. I actually was feeling for it.
Present day
Tharn hesitated at her office door.
He really didn't want to see her.

Opening the door she was sitting down partly leaned on her desk looking up at tharn.
He nodded then turned partly around to close the door.
Tharn stepped to the chair sitting down. He leaned his back to the chair eyeing Lamai.
She cocked her head to the side.
"Mmm. Must be pretty important to come all the way here to see me."
He nodded.
She narrowed her eyes then she leaned back with a smirk.
"why did you call this meeting?"
Then she raised an eye brow
"So... did you come here for you or for your boyfriend?"
Tharns lips parted, his eyes narrowed.
