values are a big part of understanding self identity. for eg, if you value kindness, this affects the way you interact with others. what type of person do you want to be? how do you want to treat others?2. explore your passions
find what gets you going & makes you happy.
go over the activities that make you lose track of time.3. look over the challenges you've faced
sometimes, what we go through shows how strong we are & how we react to diff situations.4. evaluate your strengths
knowing your strengths can help figure out your identity. consider the compliments from people in regards to what you're good at. contribute more to the world with those talents.5. figure out where you can grow
be honest with yourself and look at your weaknesses. what are your bad habits? we're given opportunities all the time to improve, so use it to better yourself, or ask someone close about what they are.6. investigate your spirituality
many find meaningfulness in their connection with their spirituality/religion. try finding how it connects you and others around you. work on mindfulness.7. imagine the future you
choose a point in the future & think about what your life will be like w/ the best possibilities. who's there with you? what are you like? what are your characteristics?8. paint a clear picture of your life & what it'll be like.
