I see Asahi and he greets me. "Hey." I said and smiled at him. "Just us, huh?" I asked, seeing that every other tables were full. He nodded his head.
"So.." He started. "Talk."
"There's something you should know." I said. "I want to confess."
"... confess?" He looked worried. "About what?" He asked and I had a small smile on my face.
"I'm gay." I came out and he sat stiff, probably not expecting that. "Oh.. uh, congratulations, I guess...?" He trailed off saying.
"Is that all?" He asked and I shook my head slowly, thinking if this was a good idea or he was never speaking to me again.
"No... uh also, I'm attracted to you." I confessed and he looked at me for a while then averted his eyes away from me, looking somewhat displeased.
"You don't like me." He said quickly and my eyes widened.
"No! I do! I'm sure–"
"No, you're not..!" His voice getting slightly louder now. "You're just.. in a phase." He said in a normal tone. "Aiden. Whatever you're feeling right now is temporary. You don't like me."
I frowned. "Is this your way of rejecting me?" I asked angrily and he sighed. "Aiden."
"We just met, Aiden. For about three weeks. You can't be serious." Asahi said and I shook my head. "I'm serious about this, Asahi. I like you, a lot." I said, hoping he would listen for once.
"Give me a chance and we go on a date, if it doesn't work out then we could just stay as friends." I suggested and he looked at me for a while then laid his palms on his face.
"Fine–" He mumbled through them.
"Really...?" I asked and he nodded his head. "Shit, thank you! You have no idea how happy I'm feeling right now." I thanked him and he just nods his head again.
"I'll text you." I added and he groaned. "Are you okay?" I asked and he peeked out. "Yes." He stresses out and I smiled. "You're being really annoying right now and I'm hungry." Asahi said and I grinned.
