"So... does that makes us boyfriends?" Aiden asked. "Yeah, I guess so." I said and Aiden grinned, looking up into the night sky.
I sighed.
"Have you told anyone else that you were gay?" I asked and he shook his head no. "I guess I just want to keep this a secret first– if you don't mind, of course." Aiden said and I smiled, nodding my head. "I don't mind, you can take your time. It's not easy coming out, I get you."
Aiden turned to look at me. "How did you come out?" He asked. "I just told them straight up because I knew they'd be okay with it. I have relatives that are openly out and my family are all very accepting of them so I wasn't afraid to come out. My old friends though on the other hand..." I scoffed and shook my head.
"They didn't accept you?" Aiden asked.
"Yeah... that was sad. We were really close too, so it hit me hard." I sighed and looked at him. "So, when you do come out– know that if they leave you, it doesn't matter. It's the ones that stay is what counts." I encouraged him and he nodded his head.
There were a lot of stars tonight and the moon was shining so bright, Aiden's face was glowing. He looked pretty.
"Thanks. You too." He said and smirked at me. I blinked twice.
"What?"
"You said I looked pretty." Aiden smiled.
"Did I?"
"Yeah, dude. You look pretty too." He winked and my nose scrunched up in disgust.
"Don't call me pretty."
"Uh- you called me pretty first? But I can't say it?" He said with bitchy attitude.
"Uh- yeah?" I followed after.
"Okayyyy?"
"Are you trying to fight with me, bro?" I asked, rolling up my sleeves.
"Damn, minutes into dating and we're already having a brawl." He said and I chuckled. "Can I call you cute though?" He asked and I wondered.
"I guess you can." I said and smiled at him. We both sat in silence. "Can I just say? That was such a deja vu moment. Do you remember?" Aiden asked and I scoffed.
"Yeah, I remember. That was awkward." I said and he chuckled.
"Can we kiss?" He asked suddenly.
"No."

"This is taking too long, I want to go home please." I demanded and Aiden wiped the sweat on his forehead with the sleeves of his T-shirt.
Why did he looked like he ran a marathon?
"I-I got it. Here." He said, running out of breath. He hands me a stuffed animal he won at a game booth, which he played over and over for a prize. I took it into my arms and hid it under my jacket. "Bro, why?" He asked and I looked at him, confused. "It's hard for me to win that for you, bro. At least show it off." He pouted and I rolled my eyes. "Please?" He begged.
I looked at him for a moment and sighed and pulled out the stuffed toy, and held it under my arm pit. "Oh God, you look so cute!" He exclaimed and I tried my hardest not to turn red. "Thanks." I said and he smiled, grabbing onto my hand. "Let's go over there now." He said and I nodded my head, letting him guide me through this mad house– I mean, the amusement park.
"Do you like roller coasters?" He asked and I looked up and saw that it was kinda high.. a little too high.
"I do but this looks a little bit scary." I admitted and he grinned at me.
"Oh, you're scared? I could hold your hand so you could feel safe." He winked at me and I just gave him a face. "Yeah, no thanks. I think you're just going to scream into my ears once we're up there." I bluntly said and his whole expression just crumbles.
"The truth hurts." I added and he pulled up his hoodie to hide his entire face. "Sorry, man." I said again and he started mewling.
"Okay, next ride." I decided and he snorted from inside his hoodie. "Excuse me?" I asked him and he pulled off his hoodie. "Nothing." He quickly said.
"You're so weird." I mumbled and he smiled warmly at me.
"Just for you, Asa." He said and we stared into each other's eyes for a while.
"Ew."
