Chapter 15 - Meeting Rebecca... Again

I really didn’t want to get up and go to classes today, but I had no choice since I was a boarder and the fact the teacher make sure everyone is out of their dorms by eight in the morning.

I went for a shower, got dressed and checked my phone. I had a message from Reece and Jake

I read Reece’s first; Jake wasn’t too happy about what he saw –Reece

He shouldn’t care anyway –Rose

I checked Jake’s message; why the hell would you do that!? He’s my best friend… well, was! –Jake

I didn’t want to reply to Jake’s message, I walked out the door to get something to eat

I don’t normally eat breakfast anymore, but I felt hungry this morning. I got the dining hall and saw Jake sitting looking impatient, when he saw me he rose and started walking over to me

“What do you want” I said walking over to the food

“Well first off, did you get my text?” Jake asked

“Hmmm” I said trying to choose what I wanted to eat

“Rose!?” Jake said raising his voice

I turned to him and sighed “yes I got your text” I turned back to the food and decided I was just going to get something to drink

“Whatever” he said and stormed off

I grabbed a glass of milk and went back to my dorm, as I turned around I bumped into someone.  She had ash brown hair fading into blonde that just touched her shoulders which matched her perfect tan, she had dark brown eyes with long thick black eye lashes.

“Oh, sorry” I said and walked past her

“R-rose?” she stuttered

“Um… yes?” I said turning to face her

She squealed and wrapped her arms around me “I’m sorry, do I know you?” I asked trying to sound polite

“I guess you would have said that, Chloe told me that you forgot your memory… I’m Rebecca” she smiled “we were best friends before the crash”

“Oh, hey Rebecca” I didn’t know what else to say

Thank god Jayce came up behind me and broke the quietness and awkwardness between us, I looked at Jayce

“Hey, have you seen Chloe?” Jayce asked me with an empty cup of juice

I shook my head “I haven’t seen her this morning sorry”

“That’s ok, she’s in my first class so I can talk to her then” Jayce smiled and walked away

Hmmm, I wonder why he needed Chloe. All well.

Math class was boring as usual today, I got in trouble for writing letters to Sj

“Mira, is that a note I see?” Mr. Harvey asked

I shook my head “you can see?” I asked, well he was old… So he could have been blind

Everyone laughed, then stopped when he started yelling “THAT’S IT MIRA YO-” but I cut him off

“Excuse me sir, but I’d prefer it if you called me by my first name” I said and looked back at Sj

“Fine, Rose. I’m sick and tired of you!” he yelled
