"I wish I could see you," she said and smiled at him.

Lorn ridiculously chuckled at what she told him. She was looking straight at him so how come she's still saying that? He thought.

"Why? Are you blinded by the sun light?" He asked her instead.

She looked down looking like there was something she wants to say but just gets tongue tied.

"Not really... it's something else," she replied. "Hmm... I might tell you but that's when I get to memorize your face."

"Memorize my face?" Lorn asked her raising a brow.

She grinned at him and said, "I hope you don't forget my face because you know, not all is destined to see beautiful faces."

•••

Lorn opened his eyes and took off his arm from resting on his forehead. He sighed remembering that lady again. He only has her name and nothing else could he remember more but the feeling with her, not even her face. It's too blurry for now.

He stood up and was about to head to the canteen when he came across Brei. This girl again, he thought to himself.

Brei didn't say anything instead she continued to walk pass through him.

Lorn acted like Brei was just the wind passing by him. He put both his hands inside his pockets and walk ahead.

At the canteen, he ordered a chicken sandwich and a bottle of water. While eating at the eating area he took out his phone. He's got a bunch of texts and he sighed.

"Won't they just stop worrying?" He asked, mumbling the words. His parents sure does play the bouncer's role in keeping his life in order.

Lorn was in the middle of typing a text when Brad called. He stared at it for a while and then answered.

"Yo! Where on earth are you?" That loud voice of Brad whenever they talk.

"I'm out to look for her," Lorn answered timidly.

"What? Where? Are you kidding me? Bro! She's–just–a–dream! Where are you right now? I'm going to get ya."

Lorn breath out and thought it was impossible for her to be just a dream. It was just too impossible.

"I'm in the middle of an ocean," Lorn plainly answered as he take another bite on his sandwich.

"Don't tell me you're—"

"Yep! I sure am going back to that place again. You guys aren't being honest with me. There's something about that place that you guys aren't telling me," Lorn told his friend.

"Fine, fine. You could've told me to come"

Lorn face palmed. "As if you can leave your girlfriend."

The next thing he heard were denials from Brad and he was being too loud.

"Ight, aight! I need to go now, see ya soon bro," Lorn farewelled and hung up.

What's wrong with his life? It seemed like he isn't happy anymore unlike at the memories that kept flashing back to his mind. That guy in the past is so happy, while now, he's just plain Forlorn. He needs her... he needs his Euphoria.
