Searching For Euphoria

The old town was now a part of a big city. It wasn't like how Brei could remember. She's been in this place a couple of times to see if she gets a visit from an old love of her. It's just this time that she feels a little strange to the place.

If only that boy didn't smile at her, she wouldn't even start to like him at all. First love just wouldn't die. How stupid of her to keep hoping that one day he will call out her name somewhere.

Brei checked her phone and looked at the time. It was almost eight and Mikael hasn't text nor called her. It was expected and she shouldn't care less.

"I got to get me some fries and sundae," she groaned getting up from her bed. She's not the healthy type so excuse her.

Opening her wardrobe, she took out a hoodie and some shorts. She feels comfortable in them old clothes of her.

After dressing up she walks out the door, leaving her phone and depressing thoughts.

She went inside a fast food place and ordered a jumbo fries and a sundae. Once she got the receipt, she waited for her number to show up on the monitor above the claiming counter.

It took mostly fifteen long minutes for her number to appear on the screen. It was a take out for her so upon receiving she left the place.

Brei opened the paper bag and started eating some fries. She giggled when she tasted them, she even dipped a stick of fries to the sundae. She continue to do so as she decided that she wants to explore the town and see the new things.

Lorn saw what Brei did and Euphoria's memory instantly started flashing back to his mind.

"She's not Euphoria," he whispered. "She could've recognized me if it was her," he added.

Then the thoughts wouldn't stop. Questions like, 'what if she lost her memory like him? What if she was looking for him too? What if she changed her name?'

Lorn shook his head. That's pretty absurd for her to change her name after losing a memory. But still, what if she really was Euphoria?

When Lorn snapped out of his thoughts, Brei was already nowhere that made him face palmed. He actually called her but she didn't answer. He looked around. He saw her eating an unhealthy breakfast and now she's gone.

"What a pain," he murmured and looked for Brei.

When he finally saw her, he made sure he didn't sound like he looked for her. Lorn approached her cooly making it sound like he just saw her sitting at a bench.

"You're eating unhealthy," he uttered that made her look up to him with her big brown almost amber eyes.

"Uh..." she gaped and stared at him.

That made Lorn think that he must have the wrong girl but it is Brei. He's sure it's her.

"You're Brei right? Don't tell me you forgot my name," he said and when he looked at her she smiled awkwardly. He then rolled his eyes and said, "You said you'd call me Michael."

That's when he saw her gasp and then grinned at him. He think she's so weird but he can set that aside because he wants to know if she's Euphoria.
