Searching For Euphoria

Brei waking, stretched up not realizing she was in someone else's bed. And as soon as she opened her eyes, it roamed and searched for things that were hers. Only, she found nothing as she pause her stretches.

"I see, you had a pretty good sleep," she heard him say.

Her eyes widened as she imagined her position and him probably looking at her. She slowly withdrew from stretching and sit up, leaning against the upper frame of his bed.

"Uh... yeah," she replied and smiled awkwardly. Then she remembers something. "How on earth did I get here?" Because last time she remember, she fell asleep on the couch and not in his bed.

"Well, you sleep walk your way in my bed and guess what happened?"

"Uh... what?"

"We slept together in my bed," Lorn kid around that made her all red.

Brei froze right there. She wouldn't sleep walk! But Mikael's face! He seemed serious, she thought.

"D-did we really—"

And then she heard a loud laugh from him.

"You lying cow!" Brei yelled as she picks up a pillow and throw it at him. He ended up catching it anyways.

"You should've seen how surprised you were!" He said and laughed.

Brei just kinda pouted and glared at him. But that's just for a while until she realized, this guy is cute when he smiles. He reminds her of her first love so much and that made her smile.

"Anyways, want to go do the groceries with me? Or you want to go home already?" He asked her.

That's new, Brei thought. But that's a good new.

"I'll change back to my clothes and I'll be right there," she answered.

"Alright," He said and left the room.

Brei just kept following Lorn as he take almost anything he sees and throw it in the cart. She just keeps quiet and let him do all the picking.

It took him a while to realize that he was with Brei.

"Uhm... just take anything you like though. I'll pay," he told her.Then he heard Brei laughed that made him look at her with a 'what?' look.

"Do you really know what to get tho?" She asked chuckling.

Lorn honestly doesn't know what to get. He knows how to cook and clean but, he doesn't know the right stuff to get.

"Okay, you don't know what to get. Let me be in charge then," she said and signed him to follow.

He scoffed and followed her anyway. She took some stuff and he tried to get stuffs again. They ended up arguing on a lot of products but she'd always win.

"So, we're done with groceries," she told him.

"Yep. After those arguments with you I thank God it's finally over," he joked.

Brei just rolled her eyes and hid a smile.

"So, anything else you want to do?" He asked her.

"Well, there's one thing I want to try but I'm not sure if it's okay."

Lorn raise his brows at her. "What is it?"

"Well, I've seen people doing it on TV so I just want to know how it feels. I wanna ride on the cart like in music videos," Brei muttered, feeling a little shy at what she said.

"Tch! Let's do it then. Hop on!" He said, grinning at her. Brei was surprised but then grinned at him.

Brei hopped on the cart with the things they bought.

"Hold tight okay? We're gonna race," he said and she gripped at the sides.

Lorn then started to push her fast on the aisles making sure there was no one they'd bump on to.

Brei couldn't help but laugh at what they're doing. Childish and it might be a little cliché to watch somebody with the same exact scene, but to her, it was different. It was a scene she wanted to try out and feel, not just to see on screens and say it's fun, but to experience it and feel the fun.

Lorn grinned wider as he push the cart and hear her laughters. It ain't like anybody's laugh, it was pure happiness and no faking it. That is what he has been wanting to hear.

"Attention, to the two childish adults, please stop playing around the grocery section for this is not the playground, Thankyou."

They heard the lady say at the speaker and it made them stop. It was embarrassing but they laughed it out anyways.

"That was fun," he said as they line up to scan and pay the items.

Brei just looked at him and smiled. She never really thought that this time, someone was with her to look for inspiration again.
