Chapter 16

     The most awaited part of the party is now starting, at least yun yung sabi nina Flora sakin. Party party na kasi hahaha allowed nang magsayaw ang lahat sa dance floor and the tables are slightly push to the corner para mas magkaroon ng malawak na space. I'm all alone in our table now since my really good friends decided na mas gusto nilang sumayaw ng sumayaw rather than to have a girl talk with me.

"Gosh Ingrid don't you realize the sounds and musics are booming for us to even have a normal and proper conversation?"-Flora shouted at me after gulping all the water from her glass.

"Besides, ito yung pinaka masayang part ng program tonight. You should dance too, even the committees are having fun, even your brother is in the crowd dancing and having fun!"-Maxx told me exasperatedly after tucking her hair on the back of her ear.

"Fine you sit there, andun lang kami sunod ka nalang kung gusto mo ng sumayaw!"-Flora pointed the center of the dance floor before leaving with Maxx behind her who is already banging her head along with the beat.

     That's what they told me, at the moment they are dancing like crazy even my brother is lightly banging his head at the music with his friends from one side. Argh hindi kasi talaga ako mahilig sa party especially the dancing and all, I'll rather eat at one table kagaya nalang ng ginagawa ko ngayon. Gosh pailang cake ko na ba ito? 4? 6? I can't even remember.

"Hey bakit di ka makijoin sa mga friends mo? They're already having fun!"-Wave approach me, well I can't help but to blush, come on it's my crush sinong 'di kikiligin?

"Well, sabihin nalang natin na iba iba tayo ng definition ng fun"-I tried not to stutter too much since nakakahiya kung I'll act like a total idiot in front of my crush.

"And your definition of fun is eating cake?"-Wave slightly nod when I nod at him enthusiastically, argh sana naman wala akong dumi sa mukha ko or chocolate sa ngipin ko.

"What are you doing here? Why don't you join kuya there?"-ako naman ang nagtatanong sa kanya

"Well, sabihin nalang natin na I'm not fond of dancing? I rather stay here with you"-I immediately blush dun sa huling sinabi niya, deym sino ba naman ang hindi kikiligin dun diba? DIBA!?

"Ehem, penge namang tubig nasamid ako, ehem ehem!"-gosh nasamid ako sa chocolate cake na kinakain ko, pati ata cake balak akong patayin!

"Here, hahaha hinay hinay lang kasi. Marami pa namang cakes dun sa table!"-he said while giving me a glass of water.

     We just talk and talk for the following hours and I can't help but to laugh, ang gaan kasi niyang kasama I felt comfortable. Okay pa naman ako, the only problem was I felt hot inside again kagaya nung nararamdaman ko kanina. I tried shrugging it off baka kasi dahil lang yun sa dami ng cake na kinain ko baka may heart burn lang ako. A few minutes later nagsisimula na ulit akong mahirapan pero di ko yun pinahalata kay Wave since I don't want him to worry.

     I tried cooling my body down with my core ng hindi nahahalata ni Wave, but just like what happen earlier wala ding nangyari. My body is on fire from the inside, without realizing what I'm doing I command my Ice to freeze the owner of this fire. Hindi ko alam kung gagana pa siya but I don't have any other choice.

"Hey are you okay? You keep in grimacing and pinagpapawisan ka na despite the ventilation here. Hey"-Wave tried approaching me, but I stop him saying stay where he is.

    When I finally release my ice bumagsak na ako sa kinauupuan ko, my mind is already clouded and I'm starting to hear loud screams of a lady at saka ko lang narealize na yung mga sigaw palang yun ay nanggagaling sakin. I'm now curled up into ball because of the intensity of pain I'm feeling right now.

    Nanlalabo na ang paningin ko pero that didn't stop my seething anger nung bumalik sakin ang core ko saying who the culprit was. And everything went black before I realize what's happening.

WAVE'S POV

    I'm having a good time talking to Ice, I feel comfortable talking to her at sa tingin ko naman she feels the same way. Her laugh is like a music to my ears, I know it sounds corny but what can I do? I was still busy talking about how I met his brother pero she keep on grimacing, tsaka ilang beses ko ring napansin yung pag flashed ng pain through her eyes, napansin ko din ang pag glow ng mga kamay niya, she's using her magic on herself. Pinagpapawisan na din si Ice, there's definitely wrong with her.

"Hey are you okay? You keep in grimacing and pinagpapawisan ka na despite the ventilation here. Hey"-I tried approaching her since nag aalala na ako, mukha siyang nahihirapan at nasasaktan but she just told me to stay where I am. 

     She release a ball of Ice but hindi ko na alam kung san napunta yun kasi kasabay nun ang pagkabagsak niya sa upuan niya. She's now screaming from the pain, her eyes are crying and she keeps on freezing her body but it's no use. Natigil na din ang party at dali dali na pumunta ang mga kaibigan niya dito together with Blue.

"What's happening to her? WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER?"-Blue is mad and now he's screaming at me pero wala akong magawa kundi umiling.

"AHHHHH, ARGHHHH IT HURTS MAKE IT STOP! AHHHHH"-She keeps on screaming and her voice is starting to get hoarse, she's now curled up into a ball while crying and screaming.

     Halos lahat ay nakikinuod na rin sa nangyayari sa kanya, nakakaawa siyang tingnan ni hindi namin siya malapitan dahil sa takot na mas lumala ang sitwasyon niya. Even her friends are crying while Marga is trying to comfort them, Blue is frustratedly pulling his hair while Ashton keeps on telling him to calm down.

     Nagulat kami nung bumalik sa kanya ang ball of magic niya especially when it turns into a small fairy, parang may binulong ito sa kanya and within split second her eyes stopped crying and she stop from screaming. The temperature dropped increasingly freezing the floor, her eyes turned hard crystal like she was being possess, sa totoo lang she looks scary. Unti unting nagkaroon ang balat niya ng mga Ice patterns na para bang she's one of the Ice she have, her eyes were blank.

     Nagsimula siyang maglakad at halos nahahawi ang mga tao sa dadaanan niya, sobrang tahimik ng paligid at ang maririnig mo lang ay ang pagtunog ng heels na suot niya.

"Ice, wait Ice where are you going?"-Blue grab her by the arm but he immediately retracted his arms nung mag freeze ito.

"Stay. Away. From. Me"-may diin na sabi nito na para bang she doesn't recognize her own brother.

     We just silently followed her outside the gym, ako, si Blue, si Flora at si Maxx, si Ashton at si Crimson nalang ang sumunod sa kanya. Inutusan namin ang mga committee to clear up the mess inside the gym. Ice just keep on walking hanggang sa makarating kami sa rooftop and we saw Wada, Crimson's cousin na nandun and her feet were freezed.

     She seems startled when she saw us but she looked terrified when she saw Ice who is now grinning at her. Ice looks really scary right now, wala na yung bahid ng kabaitan sa kanya kahit sa soft features niya mararamdam mo ang galit niya, even her Ice turned into crystal and we doesn't even know how is that possible.

"Ano bang nangyayari dito?"-litong lito na sabi ni Flora who is still crying.

"What are we doing here? And why is Wada freezed in place there?"-Crimson is also frustrated just like Blue.

     And now I suddenly put everything into pieces. I realized why Ice is about to die earlier ang screaming in pain, on why Ice released her ball of Ice, on why we are here right now, and on why Wada is freezed into place.

"She tried to kill Ice not just once, but twice. She's going to burn Ice from the inside"-I unconsciously muttered and all of them gasp, and Wada went pale.

"You mess with the wrong person, you witch"-Ice said deadly, her words are seething with anger.

What have she done.
