Koopa Yuri Matsuri | Bowser Jr. x Reader

Lol yet another adaptation featuring Jr. this time. He's one of the more underappreciated options, I rarely write x readers featuring him so all you Jr. fans out there, this is for you! The art up top belongs to me and the female in the drawing is my OC that is his love interest in my fanfic. As always, thank you so much for reading and waiting patiently for updates!

“Your Highness, you have a visitor.” A toad servant informed you when you answered your bedroom door. You sighed and traveled through the halls of Mushroom Castle and down the grand winding staircase to the main hall. When you arrived, you were somewhat shocked to see Bowser Jr. standing there.

His outfit was more formal than his usual attire. However, his bib remained and his fiery red hair was pulled back into his usual tiny ponytail. 

“Hello [m'lady/my good sir]!” Bowser greeted you, offering you an odd bouquet arranged with [ur fav flwrs], piranha plants, and fire flowers. Upon touching the bouquet, the [ur 3 fav colors] color palette of your outfit changed to red and white.

 “Cool.” You whispered. “What are you even doing here, Bowser Jr.?”

“I suppose you haven’t yet heard but I go by Prince Bowser The Second now.” He corrected you.

“Since when? And why are you talking like that?” You asked.

“Since, wike, today! I’ve been thinking about our engagement a wot watewy and I know you’re only doing this for the benefit of your kingdom a-and I think that’s very cool of you s-so I thought if I started acting more mature and princewy, you’d fall in love with me and then we could mawwy for wove too! But I was also thinking that if you will one day wule the Koopa Kingdom as my [King/Queen], I think it would be beneficial if you learned more about my Kingdom and its citizens, so I’m taking you on a date!” Bowser explained.

You were touched and considering winter break still wasn’t over, you thought spending the day with Bowser wouldn’t be too bad. You scurried back to your room to get a few things before you met Bowser back outside in the courtyard.

You looked around. “Where’s the limo...or carriage at least?”

Bowser giggled.”We’ll be taking the scenic route this time~” He then smiled and whistled rhythmically.

In response to Bowser's call, you heard a whinny and the clip clopping of hooves in the distance. As the noise drew nearer, a horse came into view and halted to stop beside Bowser Jr. The horse whinnied and nuzzled Bowser Jr. hello.

The horse was a Thoroughbred mare with a chestnut coat and flaxen mane. She was equipped with a dark brown bridle and a dark green saddle. 

Bowser Jr. gently petted the mare. "You didn't forget that I am an esteemed Olympic equestrian athlete, did you? This is my steed, Bowsy!" 

You gently rubbed the Bowsy's smooth coat. "Bowsy? How did you come up with something so original?" You asked sarcastically.

Jr. mounted Bowsy and helped you on after him.

Jr. clicked his tongue. "Onward, Bowsy! Onward to wove!" Bowsy snorted in understanding, and you were off.

The Koopa Kingdom was coated with a light layer of snow. There were Koopa children sledding, making snow angels, building snowkoopas, and having snowball fights and they waved as you and Jr. galloped past.
