What's up with him?

I heard Danny walk into the part where all the bunks are and sigh, he seemed to be in there for a while and then he walked out giving us a fake smile as he walked past. 

I wondered if he was okay. 

"Excuse me, I just need to have a quick word with Danny." I said and followed him out of the bus onto a grass part. 

"Danny?!" I called after him. 

He stopped and turned around, I could see he was stressed about something and as he walked closer he put the fake smile on again, he wasn't fooling me.

"What's up?" He asked me. 

"Maybe I should ask you that, you cannot fool me with the fake smile, are you ok?" I said to him.

He sighed and looked down. 

"Nothing, I'm just-" He trailed off.

"What? You're just what?" I asked, urging for an answer, he always helped me so why not return the favor? 

"Nothing." He said and gave me another fake smile. 

"Are you sure? You seem a little on edge lately." 

He just nodded at me. 

"Oh, okay then, I just wanted to make sure you were okay, because you're always there for me whenever I'm down. I'm always a shout away from you by now, I don't mind when or what it is, you can come to me if you need to." I assured him. 

And he smirked.

"Now can I have a cuddle?" I asked him. 

He kind of blushed and hugged me tightly, it felt like he wasn't okay at all, he was all tense and it seemed like he needed to say something, like something big was on his mind, I wanted to ask him but I knew he wouldn't tell me.

We pulled away from the hug and I smiled at him, then lent forward and kissed him on his cheek, I guess it was okay for me to kiss him on the cheek, we were becoming quite close lately. 

He blushed and turned on his heel and walked off towards the venue to set up.

"Cheeky kiss." He muttered and turned his head and grinned at me.
