The unexpected

Two weeks later...Saturday night...10PM...coming home from a friends house.

I was walking the streets of New York this late, I was kind of worried but I should be okay, I'll just plug my headphones in and carry on with life and block everything out. 

My phone buzzed, it was a text message off of Danny.

"Hey babe, what you up to? x" It read, me and Danny were becoming closer lately, which I kind of liked because he was so kind and he was handsome. 

I smiled at my phone and texted him back.

"Just walking home from a friends house. :)" 

Two mins later he text back saying. 

"On your own?! What the fuck? You could be hurt out there, especially in New York." 

I rolled my eyes, Danny always worried about me, I'm not five years old. My apartment wasn't even far, maybe 12 mins left until I reached my apartment, that was it. 

"Danny! I'll be fine :) You worry too much, I'm not too far from the house. ox" 

There was no reply for a little while so I carried on walking. I got to a quiet road and it was kind of dark, which made me worry a little, it seemed empty though so I should be okay, plus it was either this way which led me to my apartment quicker, or turn back and go the longer way, but it was far too cold to go the long way, I needed to stop worrying, I'd be fine.

So I carried on with my walk, music blasting in my ears, I was happy enough, until I got in the middle of the dark road and I heard voices, it sounded like a group of men, I turned around to see if I was just being silly. 

Behind me was stood 4 men though, dark figures, I couldn't really see their faces well, I just saw them coming towards me quicker, so I walked a little faster incase they were going to do something to me, I didn't like being on my own anymore. 

Then, all of a sudden I felt something stab into my lung, I felt uneasy, my vision blurred and I fell to the floor, darkness surrounding me. 

I was out.
