BTW this Captain Hook has no relation to the story in terms of his character in OUAT, I just picked him because he looks more like Harry than any other version I've seen :)

Your POV

"Who's that?"

"The one and only Captain Hook - come let's see what he wants." My heart began to race - I know I wanted to meet him eventually but today? Is he as scary as all the stories I've heard? Probably not - he is a father after all. And his son is alright - well, better than alright.

I quickly took off the hat and put back the sword. I followed Harry down the stairs - and there he was. He almost looked like an exact copy of how he was depicted in the storybooks, except quite older. Red hat, sword, and of course, his signature hook.

"Ah, Harry who is this? I don't think I've seen this lass before - then again, how can I keep track of all the girls you bring home?" Wait what?

Harry's POV

Did he have to say that?

Your POV

"Dad, this is (y/n), she's from Auradon."

"Ah, of course - the barrier comes down and suddenly the Isle girls aren't good enough for you, huh?"

"Dad stop! It's not like that - this is different."

He walked up to me and twirled my hair with his hook - while I stood there paralyzed.

"And whose daughter are you?"

"I'm -"

"No wait - let me guess. Daughter of Moana, maybe?"

"Uhh no."

"Ah wait - it's so obvious now. Daughter of Jasmine and Aladdin - I'm right aren't I?" He took a step back from me. I breathed out in relief. Why am I so nervous? It's not like he's a famous lunatic everyone has heard of - ok, maybe I do have the right to be worried.

"Yea, that's right. How did you know?"

"How couldn't I? You have your mother's hair, and lips, and nose - but your father's eyes. A spitting image of your parents, really."

"How do you know anything about how my parents look?"

"The same way you probably knew how I looked before you met me - fairytales." He put extra emphasis on that last word. Interesting - he doesn't seem so bad after all.

"Now Harry, you don't plan on hurting this young lady do you?" He spoke in a very sarcastic tone.

"Dad - not now."

"What's wrong Harry? That's what Auradon parents do right? Care about what their children do, who they hang out with, ask about their feelings. Since you seem to think the Isle isn't good enough for you, I might as well step up my game and behave like an Auradon father." He smirked at his son.

"You know what? I don't have time for this. Come on (y/n), we're leaving." Harry grabbed my hand and led me off the ship.

Captain Hook called out after us, "You can't fool me, son! I know the Isle's still in you, and sooner or later it's bound to come out!"

He didn't say anything until we reached the end of the street.

Harry turned and looked at me. "I'm sorry about my father, he gets crazy sometimes."

"I really didn't mind, he wasn't being so bad - sure he was sort of offensive - but maybe he's like that because he's your dad and he has the right to say what he wants to say."

"You don't know my dad, there's always something with him. He has some horrible vision that I'm going to grow up and become exactly like him - but all that's gone now."

"And that's why I think he's finding it hard to come to terms with this sudden change. It's like if I decided I want to be evil and drop out of school overnight - my mom wouldn't tolerate that." He seemed to think about what I said, but brushed away the whole conversation in a second.

"You're probably hungry, let's go to Uma's and get a bite."

"Sure... the food there is safe, right?"

"Not usually, but for us, she'll take out the special stores." He winked at me.

We walked into a grungy looking café, with pictures of the ocean and fish put up everywhere to set the mood.

At the back stood a teenage girl with detailed teal braids. She waved at Harry and motioned for him to come over.

"Finally decided to show up huh, Harry? And who's this over here?"

"This is (y/n), we met yesterday at the celebration. Offered to give her a tour of the Isle."

"Hi, I'm Uma. Daughter of Ursula." She stuck out her hand for me to shake.

"Uma, I don't think we need to keep up the act." I went in and hugged her.

[Oops, did I forget to mention? This isn't the first time I've met Uma.]

^ there's a little subtext I wanted to add in :)

Question of the week: Would you rather have Descendants 4 come out, or a prequel type film focusing on younger Uma, Harry and Gil?

Answer: Although a fourth Descendants film would be amazing, I think I'd love to see the pirates get more screen time, and see a bit more about their history on the Isle. Do you agree?
