Your POV

I looked at Harry. "I think I should go - they need my input on a new plan for the VKs."

"You think I could come as well?"

"Ben, can Harry come along?"

"Of course, the more perspectives we have the better. But come quick - I want to let everyone know of a decision soon, we only have a few days before school reopens. We've missed enough due to Audrey's curse."

"We'll be right there." I looked at Harry. "He says you can come - I'm sorry this got cut short. Again."

"I'd be surprised if it didn't, considering our track record." We shared a knowing look.

I motioned for the carpet to come over. "Let's go."

At Ben's Castle...

We entered his office/meeting room - a place very familiar to me. Ben called me over to help him with royal decrees and strategies all the time.

Ben was there, next Mal, and Uma.

"Uma? Why are you here?"

Mal answered. "We figured we'd need the opinion of someone like Uma - she knows the minds of the VKs on the Isle better than anyone."

"Great!"

"I see you brought your own Isle expert though." I looked over at Harry, who didn't appreciate the comment.

"Mal - it wasn't that long ago that you were on the Isle too. The only actual royals here are Ben and (y/n)."

She stepped forward. "Excuse me-"

"Guys! Can't we try to get along - at least for today? Mal, you need to come to terms with the fact that Harry is here to stay - and Harry, give her a break." I looked at both of them.

"Fine - I'm sorry Mal."

"I guess I'm sorry too."

"Okay then, let's get to the plan." Ben started. "I realize not all VKs are as evil as James, but not all are willing to change like Uma. Still, I don't want to prevent anyone from having the opportunity to attend Auradon Prep. So, I've decided to have 3 levels of remedial goodness classes. For the VKs who are essentially good, really these classes are just a formality but are required by Fairy Godmother. They would have only 3 hours a week. The next level up is slightly evil, but not posing a threat to other students. They would have 6 hours a week. And for those like James, if they wish to attend, they would have 12 hours a week and would be supervised at all times by a teacher. Does that sound alright?"

"I think that makes sense, but how do we decide what level of instruction each VK gets?" I asked.

"That's where you come in. I'm going to have a panel with Me, Mal, you and Uma to interview the incoming VKs, who all need to get sorted out before school reopens. Are you up for that?"

"Yeah, absolutely - what about Harry?"

"Harry can't be on the panel since we have to interview him as well." Mal seemed to take pleasure in saying. "And for that one, you and Uma would have to sit out - conflict of interest."

I was about to say something, but Harry stopped me. "That seems fair."

"Great, then I'll issue a statement right away!" He began to leave. "First interviews will be tomorrow morning at 8 AM sharp in the conference room at the school - don't be late."
