Not long later and both the house and barn are done. Charles has come home and we're back to normal. We've decided that he should hunt for a living instead of fighting.

It's a much simpler way of life and he's usually home for dinner.

We're eating breakfast when there's a knock at the door.

"I'll get it," Charles murmurs.

"Thanks," I say, still fairly absorbed in eating.

Charles opens the door and I look over. It's none other than Sadie Adler.

Micah. She found him.

"We need to be at Beecher's Hope soon," Sadie says, sitting herself down. "I found Micah,"

I catch Charles' eye.

I want to do this.

"You go," Charles murmurs.

"Thank you," I say.

"Get your guns and a warm set of clothes. We might be travelling a fair bit," Sadie says.

We stop the horses and dismount. Sadie strolls up to the door where John and Abigail are.

I realise how nice this place is. They did an awesome job.

"I found him. I found Micah," Sadie says.

"No," Abigail mutters.

"I got a lead," Sadie continues, "One of his boys, wanted for murdering a woman. Been seen drinking in Strawberry,"

"If we can get to him, he'll lead us to Micah. But we gotta go now. You coming?" she asks.

"No. He's not coming," Abigail says.

"I am," I say.

"That's your business," Abigail says. "His business is here,"

"Yeah," John nods. "Yeah, I'll ride with you,"

"No! I'm..." Abigail follows him into the house. "I'm begging you,"

I don't want to hear this. It hurts my heart.

I walk over to my horse and give her some attention.

"Hey, Isabella," I murmur, brushing her.

I'd guess she's around 15 years old but somehow I have a feeling she'll keep going for a while yet.

She reminds me of the gang a little. I found her up in the mountains when we were at Horseshoe Overlook. Before everything went wrong.

"Let's go kill this son of a bitch then," John emerges.

I can hear Abigail sobbing.

I mount up and we ride.

"Come on," Sadie says. "Let's get to Strawberry before he dries out,"

"Which one of Micah's boys is it?" John asks.

"Cleet," Sadie answers.

"Which one was Cleet? The big one or the little one?" I ask. I prefer not to remember so much of Beaver Hollow.

"The one with the rat face," Sadie says.

"My memory is that they both had rat faces," John says.

Sadie sighs. "The little bastard with the rat face, then,"

I suddenly remember him. "Him? Yeah. He'll talk," I grin.

"You're damn right he will," Sadie says. I bet she's grinning too. I can hear it in her voice.
