I wish

I wish I am beautiful
I wish to be on that place
I want that chinita eyes
I want that contagious smiles
I wish I am her
Whom you always look upon
So I can have your attention
The smiles that's meant for me
And the never ending appreciation

I know, I'm no beauty
Compared to her I am just her feet
The world keeps saying me that
Who am I to disagree?
It's my cruel reality
Who would want to be me?
No one, I'm a nobody

Maybe it's beautiful to be beautiful?
Don't you think?
A great feeling maybe
Confidence at it's finest
At the peak of the world I see
Words from mouth now can never kill me
It's gone just plain beauty

It keeps me wondering
Am I not beautiful?
Well I guess I really am not.
A pity for me.
But I thought there's this thing called inner beauty?
Nah! People were blind to see

Now you know why I wanted to be her
Because if I am still me
The ugly me
Even if I just wanted to be me,
to be myself
I'm still wishing to be her
Maybe, just maybe you can now look at me
Just the way you look at her
