Your POV:
After a peaceful day at the studio, it was finally the time to leave. I was so happy with the progress our small company made.
I always remember sharing these happy moment with the staff, achieving our goals and having team dinners but today was special.
I’ve been planning this for so long and today is the day, he’s going to be so surprised. I can’t wait!
Shuffling through my bag fishing for my phone I harshly bump into one of my workmates.
Apologizing for my clumsiness, she accepts nonetheless. I step outside the main door and the sunlight particularly blinds me. The studio being so dark and dull, my eyes take a moment to adjust the sudden brightness.
After squinting my eyes, letting my pupils narrow I can finally see.
But suddenly I see something or someone that I’d rather not.
I see him.
He’s looking at me.
He’s smiling at me.
He told me he’d come back.
He did.
But he’s late.
Innocently rubbing my hands over my eyes to see if this isn’t an illusion, my eyes don’t fail me.
The sunlight hits his now coffee colored hair making them shine. His bright smile making me turn into a puddle instantly. His beautiful eyes staring at me with that twinkle never condensing off of his eyes. His gummy smile directing towards me out of all people.
Is he really back?
I don’t know.
A rush of wind causes a shiver to run down my spine.
But if he’s back means so are my memories which I locked deep down inside of me. They rush in my mind as if all the wounds have opened up.
Nonetheless I smile to myself.
He’s here.
He’s finally here.
Back for me, to me.
You were running through me like water now the feelings leaving me dry
These days we couldn’t be farther, so how’s it feels to be on the other side?
So many wasted nights with you I still can taste it I hate it wish I could take it back.

And I know some of you read like really fast and my chapters are not that long so I'd prefer you'd listen to the song ‘Vulnerable’ by Selena Gomez, I wrote this book based on that song and it definitely will add feels to the reading.
