CHAPTER SEVEN: KEEP IT

Third person POV:

You were standing near the gigantic window of the hospital room staring outside at the far distant. Yoongi was fast asleep on his bed for about seven hours now.

He was healing, so were you but you were not sure when his other self would emerge and try to harm you.

You had one thing plastered in mind that no matter what happens next you will stay by his side.

After finding out Yoongi's secret which wasn't supposed to be a secret anyway, tears form in your eyes. You feel anguished for thinking he really wanted you out of his life.

Flashback:

"What do you mean Ms. Lee?" Jin asks.

"Alright guys, I'm not sure if he wants to let you guys know but after today's incident, you all deserve to know because now it's getting out of hand."

"Please go on doc, we are all ears."

"Okay, so basically five months ago Yoongi came in telling me he had a problem." She says. "Like any other physiatrist, I asked him what he feels. He told me that sometimes he doesn't remember certain parts of the day in which what happened with him. He said he remembers going out but doesn't remember going home or he remembers making dinner but doesn't remember eating it but feeling full instead." She pauses and stares into your eyes.

"He even said he doesn't remember sleeping with another girl but remembers waking up next to one. He said he feels like cheated on himself." She says while your eyes widen with the new information.

"I concluded that maybe the symptoms he's talking about are Alzheimer's. But I couldn't easily conclude until we keep him in an observation. So he eventually agreed. A few days later, I was suspecting it but I wasn't sure until one of the caretaker got onto his nerves, he exploded, he became a different person. Like another personality had suddenly inflicted his calm one. After a few weeks of keeping him under observation. We finally concluded that Min Yoongi had a personality disorder." She says and you leave a gasp.

"I thought he is lucky that only 2 personalities exist in him but the other personality which is called Suga, is more aggressive and dominant. You'll be talking to Yoongi normally then out of nowhere the aggressive one takes control usually if someone wrongs him or goes against his will."

"So you're saying is that Suga lives inside of Yoongi?" Hoseok ask completely astounded.

"Yes, another personality exists within one human. In Yoongi's case it's Suga."

"Is it to get worse if he stayed isolated? Why didn't you ask him if he's told about his condition to anyone?" you ask with teary eyed. Still not over the idea about Yoongi suffering alone.

"We haven't yet figured out that he isolated himself from his family and friends until now. He would have been stable if you guys were with him through all those events."

"What do we do now doctor?" Jin inquired.

"Well, in split personality case you really can't do anything about it. The chances of cure are nil, but you can control his aggressive side so it shows up quite less by therapy."

"Has Yoongi been coming to you for treatment all these past months?" you ask with your throat dry.

"He has appointment twice a week but sometimes he doesn't show up. I've tried contacting him those days and he said he was busy."

"You believed that shit about him being busy." You ask disappointed.

"Miss, there is nothing I could do if he doesn't show up to one of his appointments. As I said before he would get aggressive and his other side would show up and stay for as long as he's not stable. If I would have forced him, his other side or personality would become highly unpredictable causing instability in his brain functioning." She defends herself.

"Don't worry doctor, I'll bring him here everytime he has an appointment." You say with determination.

"I'm sure you will miss....?"

"Y/N, Yoongi's girlfriend."

"I'm glad now you all know the truth behind his weird behavior." She says and we all slowly nod.

Flashback end.

You wipe your tears which are flowing out rapidity, thinking about how everything turned upside down with both of you in a period less than a year.

Yoongi has another personality in him.

Something which had no cure.

You used to see these types of people in movies or read about them in books, never would you have ever thought that the man you love till death has been suffering alone with his kind of disorder.

All you wanted was to live a good long life with Yoongi, everything was on point but this glitch inside him caused his personality to split.

You haven't seen this Suga side, he has never been aggressive with you. You only knew him as the sweet and adorable Yoongi. That was the Yoongi you know. The considerate one.

And honestly you were scared but this is what you choose, you choose to get hurt. But if it makes Yoongi feel himself again, you're up for it.
