Alyssa P.O.V

The door made a bell sound once me & Winnie walked inside of Starbucks.

Immediantly we saw That girl and that cute guy sitting across from each other at a booth.

She looked me up and down angrily as me & Winnie past her.

We both stood in the line to wait for our order.

I looked back to see if the raven girl was still staring.

We met eyes until she leaned across the table to that guy and whispered something in his ear, she laughed as his face stayed firm.

"I'll be right back" I told Winnie.

I quickly walked over to their table.

"Excuse me" I started.

The girl and the guy looked up at me.

"It seems as if we started on the wrong foot..i'm Alyssa Lynn..Me & my family just moved here today" I said putting my hand out to shake.

She just stared at it, making a face.

No, my fingernails were not painted.

'I'm sorry about Madison..i'm Carl" The cute guy speaked up taking my hand.

My eyes rounded as soon as i felt his warm hand against my cold hand, goose bumps appeared on my arms.

I loved his touch.

"Oh..umm..hi Carl" I nervously laughed.

I fixed my glasses.

"So what did you want"? Madison spoked in a mean tone.

"Oh..nothing..i just wanted to introduce myself" I told her releasing Carl's warm hand.

"Well..bye" Madison said.

"Madison..stop being so rude" Carl told her.

"No..its fine" I cleared my throat.

"Well..it was nice meeting you two..maybe i'll see you around sometime" I told them.

I started to walk back to the line that Winnie was waiting for me in, until i felt someone grab my shoulder.

I turned to face blue eyes.

"Oh..um..hi Carl" I said awkwardly.

"I'm so sorry about Madisons behavior" He told me.

'Oh, no need to apologize for her..its fine" I told him.

He nodded.

"Well..we were thinking about going to a Roxie concert tonight" He told me.

"Oh..that sounds like fun..i love her music by the way" I told him.

"Oh..thats good cause we have one extra ticket and we don't know what to do with it" He told me grinning.

I bit my lip before looking down.

"Would you like to come"? 

"Of course" I giggled.

"Okay..can i have your number so that i can pick you up later..like around 8" He asked.

"Oh..sure" I told him before giving him my number.

"Okay..good..nice meeting you again Alyssa" He grinned before walking back to his table.

I quickly walked over to Winnie.

"well, who was that fine thing you were talking to"? She teased.

"Oh..its this guy named Carl.." I told her.

"Oh"?

"Yes..he asked me out to a Roxy concert tonight.." I said excitedly.

"Omg..i'm so happy for you..do you know what your gonna wear"? She asked.

"I'll find something" I told her.

"I can help"
