Carl P.O.V

It was now 2:30 and Alyssa was still not picking up her phone.

I was sitting in my car in the driveway of Ben & Jerrys.

Just then i saw her walking out of the store going to her car that was right across from me.

I beeped my horn.

She turned around.

Her eyes rounded before she walked over to the drivers side.

"Why didnt you pick up"? I asked her.

"Sorry..my phone died" 

"I was calling you and calling you to see if you still wanted me to pick you up"

"But you canceled"

I furrowed my eye brows.

"I didnt cancel anything"

"Madison told me that you did..i came over earlier"

I faced palmed myself.

"I thought taht you were gonna break up with her" She bit her lip.

"I'm trying to, i really am..its just really hard"

"Just be honest"

I bit my lip.

"Well..can i take you out now"? I aske dopening the passanger door for her to cme in.

She didnt.

"Sorry..i would but i have to go get ready" She told me. 

I rolled my window down.

"For what"?

"Joshua asked me out"

"But hes with Paige"

"Were going to the arcade at 3 just as friends" she told me.

I bit my lip in jelaousy.

"Fine" I said before rolling my window back up.

"Dont be like that" She whined.

But i ignored her and just drove off.

I didnt want anyone else have her but me.

I was gonna need to end things with Madison.

Alyssa P.O.V

After Carl drove off i got into my own car and drove home.

I didnt need to change anything but i did touch up my makeup.

I scheduled an appointment with the eye doctor for tuesday. It was now friday.

4 days left of being blind as a bat.

I got a text saying that Joshua was outside.

I grabbed my phone and wallet and ran downstairs to his black car, similar to mines.

I gave him a big smile once i got in.

She gave me a big smile once she got into my car.

"Ready"? I asked returning the smile.
