chapter two🦋

•MATTIA'S POV•

My dad and his wife finally picked me up from that junky ass place, I've been in there for about 3 years now and all I wanna do is go home. My mom won't let me back into the house so that means I have to live with my dad, his wife and son. I visit him and Veronica (my step-mom) and her son Alejandro a few times, me and Alejandro are the same age and hung out a few times but we're not that close.

He and his friends were cool and chill every time I was there, we hung out a bit until I got into a little fight with one of them and they kinda cut me off. He also has this friend that's a fine ass girl, me and her used to be somewhat close friends, but then she sorta cut me off because of what happened.

"We're here Mattia!" Veronica squeals, her voice is such a pain in the ass but I just smiled because I didn't want to 'disrespect' her in her own house. so I got up out of the car and followed them into the house. when I look inside the house I see him, Alejandro Rosario, my step-brother across the room looking at me. I smirk at him before saying-

"aye yo ale I haven't seen you in a minute!" I yell at him, I then dap him up and walk past him upstairs to my old room. I have my own room in the house even though I barley visit, but Alejandro is an only child and they live in a big ass house so I get a room. I put down my bag on my bed and I take out my phone, all my old friends forgot about me and blocked me so I didn't have anyone's number.

I've been on my phone about 10 minutes, logging into my socials and deleting old numbers when all of a sudden I hear music and a car pulling up into the driveway. I look out the window and see a car I've never seen before, I walk downstairs to the living room and hear banging and yelling at the front door. I already know who to expect, those annoying ass friends of ale's. I walk over to the door and open it.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Kairi yells at me. I smile at the 3 boys in front of me, I knew they would be mad at the fact that I was back but I didn't care. I never really liked them and they never really liked me. I was so focused on the boys I didn't notice another person standing in front of me, I looked down and I saw her.

Aaliyah Garica.

I haven't seen her fine ass in a long time when I look down at her I saw she was looking at me. She had a big glo-up too, she got her braces off and actually has an ass and curves now. Her face is clear, has her hair done, and her sense of style has improved. I've been staring into her beautiful brown eyes for a while now until...

•AALIYAH'S POV•

"What the hell are you guys staring at each other for?" Alvaro says to me and Mattia. I look away from Mattia to the boys and notice they have been looking at me and Mattia staring at each other. I look back down at ale's mat in embarrassment before hearing someone walk up to us.

I look up and see ale standing behind Mattia. Mattia and Alejandro look at each other before Mattia says "hey brother, I was just inviting our friends in"

"our-?" roshaun started. alejandro rolls his eyes and moves mattia aside so we can come inside. The five of us head up to alejandro's room while mattia stayed downstairs, as soon as everyone is inside I quickly close ale's room door.

Kairi jumps onto ale's bed and so does alvaro, roshaun sits on ale's bean bag, ale stays standing up and I sit down in his gaming chair by his desk.

"what is he doing back I thought he got his ass sent to jail" alvaro blirts out.

"juive dumbass, he's not 18 yet" kairi yelled

"he's mama won't let him back into the house so now he gotta live here with his dad and us," ale says. he then walks over to the bed and sit down next to kairi. ale plays with his hair a little bit then says "I feel bad for him, he doesn't have any of his friends anymore and you guys all are ganging up on him"

"I don't hate him," i say looking up from my phone. I instantly regret saying that being next thing I know everyone in the room is looking at me weird. "tf yall lookin' at, ale's right he doesn't have any friends here."

"thank you liyah" ale says with a smile on his face.  he gets up and says  "let's invite him in here to talk and start over" he smiles at looks over at me. I smile back and look back at kairi who's face is scrunched up

"god damn fine invite him, but if he tries to start another fight he gotta go," kairi whines. Alvaro turns to kairi and hits him with a pillow and laughs at him. kairi grabs a pillow from ale's bed and hits alvaro back. they all start hitting each other with pillows. I laugh at them and look back down at my phone.

I'm on this new app TikTok that a recently downloaded, apparently I'm so-called "famous" on the app now so I have to post all these dancing videos. All of a sudden I hear the door opening and laughing stop, fuck I thought. I heard the door close and I already knew what was happening, I felt his eyes on me so I look up at him.

•MATTIA'S POV•

I walk back up to my room and shut the door behind me, I lay back down on my bed and check my phone. I instantly hear yelling and talking coming from ale's room, I knew they were asking why I was here which didn't bother me knowing I'll be annoying their asses every day while I'm here.

A few minutes pass by and there's a knock on my door, I was about to say come in but ale invited himself in. He sits his ass down on my bed starts staring at me, I put my phone down and look back at him then looked back up at my phone.

"do you want to come hang out with us in my room" ale ask me. My face scrunches up and I look at him with a "da fUck" look on my face.

"nah, they don't want me in there." I said to him "I wouldn't want me to be in there either" I then pick my phone back up and start scrolling threw instagram. I lost a few of my followers because of what happened but I still had a good number.

"we all agreed to start over and to try to be friends with you" ale says to me. I put my phone in my hoodie pocket and cross my arms over each other.

"who is we?" I ask knowing that dwarf would never say something like that.

"everyone mattia, just come in the room and hang out for a bit then you can leave," he says. As much as I fucking hate that friend group, they might be the only people I'll hang out with.

I stand up and so does ale and I follow him into his room. Once I get in there the room turns silent, I smirk at their faces as they realize I was here. I look over at the bed and saw kairi and whatever that other short dude's name was and roshaun was on the red bean bag.

I look over to ale's desk and there she was, sitting in the gaming chair looking down at her phone. She looked up at me and our eyes connected again, damn, I look away from her and turned my head to the bed again. I walk over to ale and put my arm over him, smile and say "isn't this fun, a little birdie told me you guys missed me."

("who said that?" "who said that?" ifyky😂)

"yeah sure," kairi says falling back onto the bed. I walk over to the couch and sat down, I cross my arms and look around the room. they all started talking again, something about school I didn't pay much attention.

I look down at my phone doing whatever, I then hear the door open and close so I look up and see that Aaliyah was gone, perfect.
