I Swear To Love You (YiZhan/WangXian)

Chapter Two

When Xiao Zhan woke up he was in a unfamiliar place. He looked to the right and saw a man playing a guqin. He was playing a soothing melody and the room was surrounded by the smell of sandalwood probably from the incense being burnt.

Xiao Zhan sat up and ask "Where am I?"

The man looked up and said "You are at Cloud Recesses.  Don't you remember,  Wei Ying?"

Xiao Zhan looked at the man confused  "Who is Wei Ying?" He ask

The man look at him looking more worried and confused came towards him and he quickly grabbed his whole body towards himself.

"You. You are Wei Ying" The man said

"I don't know what you are calling but my name is Xiao Zhan not Wei Ying" Xiao Zhan answered. 

He heard the man sigh and his expression changed "don't lie again Wei Ying. It's not funny" the man said

Xiao Zhan took the time to look around the room.

It look like a simple room nothing much in it. And became more confused "I am not lying. I have no idea who that Wei Ying person is and who you are and where I am"

The man then silently got up and left the room making Xiao Zhan confused and the man came back again after a while with another man.

"Who is this?" Xiao Zhan asks panicking as the person the man brought quickly grabbed his hand and checked his pulse.

It was quiet for awhile and the man who came with the other man said "There is nothing wrong with Child Wei"

The other man then frowned even more and said "Thank you Physician Li" he bowed and the man who checked on him bowed and excused him and left the room.

The man who was standing in front of him kept on staring at him and said "Are you hungry?" And on cue Xiao Zhan's stomach made some noise. 

The man went out for a while and came back with food. There was Lotus Root soup and he scooped some in a wooden bowl and have it to him.

"Have some" the man said and Xiao Zhan took the bowl, slightly confused and took a sip.

It was delicious. He finished it in one sitting and once he was done he sat the bowl down on the table.

"Thank you....er...I don't know your name" Xiao Zhan said.

"Lan Wangji. You call me Lan Zhan" the man, Lan Wangji answered.

Xiao Zhan nodded and said "I see. I am sorry Lan Wangji. I don't know why I don't remember you. It is slightly complicated for me to figure it out"

"It is alright. You did fall in the water while we were at the Lotus Lake" Lan Wangji answered.

Xiao Zhan was confused "I fell in the water?" He ask

"Yes. You tripped suddenly and I brought you back here to Cloud Recesses" Lan Wangji answered as he took a sip of the tea.

"I see" Xiao Zhan answered.

"Rest. Tomorrow we will  go somewhere" Lan Wangji said as he stood up and went to his guqin.

Xiao Zhan yawned and soon he fall into a deep dreamless slumber.
