20 years later
(Somewhere in Seoul)
Many years have passed by an a man was skateboarding across the pavement towards his dorm and as he reached the lobby he saw many fan girls as he sighed and with a wide smile he waved at them, took photos with them and have them his signature and with a wave of goodbye he walked into the building and was greeted by his neighbours who he have them a smile and went into the crowded elevator.
He heard some disturbing comments like
"He always cause such havoc around here"
And
"He should move someplace else"
He just turned up the volume from his airpods and soon as he reached his level he smiled at them and left the now almost empty elevator.
He soon reaches his door and put the code in and went in. Leaving his heavy coat at the hanger and slipped out of his shoes and slipped into his indoor slippers. He sat down with a huge huff and turned on the TV.
He felt empty somehow. Like something missing but he doesn't know what until he stopped at a show and saw someone he felt oddly familiar and his heart started to feel like it's hurting.
A single tear suddenly fell down and he felt it and was confused
"Why do I feel this way? Who is he?" He thought as he saw a handsome man talking in an interview.
The man was Xiao Zhan now a theater director.
He felt his heart hurting. Didn't end until he laid in bed and thought hard.
"Why does that man seem so familiar and why does he make me my heart feel hurt? He thought.
He soon fell asleep with these questions and that night he had a bizarre dream.
DREAM:
He was wearing a white robe with a head ribbon on. He was at the edge of a cliff and holding onto someone's hand and it was man who was already looking hurt until someone stabbed the rock just above the man he was holding and the man looked at the him shocked and soon let his hand slipped out and soon the man fell into darkness.
He yelled out a name
"Wei Ying!!!"
END OF DREAM
He woke up sweating profusely and in shock. He couldn't understand anything. He couldn't ask anyone about this as he doesn't know why he get this dream.
After that night he continue getting snippets of odd moments in his dreams and he was trying to piece them all together.
He then looked for the name that was mentioned in the dream on Google and found about a series that was aired 20 years ago about a cultivator who was revived and he saw the name of the theater director.
He knew this was leading him to something so he had to do the one thing he could do.
He flown to China and went to Beijing. He went to find the director and managed to get to meet him unexpectedly.
"Hello sir may I talk to you?" The younger man ask
"Uh sure" the older man a answered and soon as he looked at the younger man he felt his heart pounding just like it did 20 years before.
"Sorry for being abrupt but I want to ask you regarding something " the younger man said
"Go ahead"the older man said "but make it quick I have go to somewhere later "
"I have been getting this dreams and I found a name in one of the dream" the younger said and the older man knew something was going to be making him feel what he felt 20 years ago.
"Go on" the older man said and the younger man soon continue to explain
"I Googled the name and found a series that was quite famous 20 years ago. You were in it together with a man named Wang Yibo who tragically passed away 20 years ago" the younger man finished saying and soon the older man felt hot tears running down from his eyes which he hid quickly.
"Uh I'm sorry kid. I don't get what you are talking about. I have to go. Bye" the older man said and soon he got up and quickly left the restaurant.
He let out a sigh and turned back to see the confused look upon the younger man's face
"Why does fate have to do this me now" the older man said and soon got into a car and left the area.
On the road he knew he must avoid that young man just like he did to Wang Yibo...no Lan Wangji. The heartbreak still remain but what had happened was all in the past and he doesn't want it to repeat again.
He knew he must avoid the younger man just like he did to Wang Yibo, no Lan Wangji years ago. Even thought it will hurt, again. He doesn't wang the younger man to get the same heartbreak like he did 20 years before.
It was for the own good. To not let fate repeat itself again.
