I Swear To Love You (YiZhan/WangXian)

Chapter Fifteen

When Xiao Zhan woke up he was in a state of confusion as all he sees was white and realization came to him that someone brought him to the hospital.  He sighed and tried to sit up but he saw the one person whom he didn't expect to be there.

Wang Yibo or Lan Wangji.

"Ge you're awake? Come sit let me help you sit properly" Yibo said and helped Xiao Zhan to sit up from the bed.

He pushed Yibo's hand away and said "Leave me alone" Xiao Zhan suddenly said which surprises Yibo.

"Ge...." he sighed and continued  "I will inform the nurse that you are awake" Yibo said and left Xiao Zhan alone.

In Xiao Zhan's mind he was still confused by the realization. At that, he knew he must find out the truth.

While deep in thoughts Yibo came back with a nurse and a doctor

"Mr Xiao how are you feeling today?" the doctor ask

Xiao Zhan looked at the doctor and for the first time smiled "I'm alright doctor, only...I still have this headache" he answered

The doctor nod with a smile and said "I will check on that now. Did you recall what happened before you collapsed?"

Xiao Zhan remembered the images and then sent a long glare at Yibo.

"Yes but it seem too unreal for me . Like images of someone familiar. It is confusing" Xiao Zhan answered.

Yibo was not surprised. He knew this would happen and would want answers from him. He decided to step out again and stayed outside.

He remembered when he came to Xiao Zhan's apartment with the manager who was in panic trying to get hold of the man but couldn't called him and saw the unconscious person on the floor, worried something must've had happened to make him unconscious.

He and the manager brought Xiao Zhan to the hospital and the man were checked.

Then as they wait the manager was still worried and Yibo said "Ge go home and rest. I will wait for Zhan-ge to wake up and I will update you"

The manager just smiled and said "Thank you Yibo" and left him to wait for the doctor to inform anything.

A few hours later, Xiao Zhan was finally placed in a room. He waited for Xiao Zhan without getting himself any food or drink as he started playing the guqin.

For awhile he was playing a few songs and one of them was titled Mourning For Love.

Then he looked at the man and said "Wei Ying" his eyes were looking sad and at that moment after changing to a modern clothing and made the guqin disappear he fell asleep by Xiao Zhan's side until he was woken up by Xiao Zhan moving his hand and staring at him confused and started to push him away.

He stepped out to get the nurse and the doctor while thinking "Why is he pushing me away?" Yibo thought as he stepped inside the room.

In the room the glare became more sharper than before and he knew he had to leave the room. He stepped out again and informed the manager.

"Ge, Zhan-ge is awake"

Then the manager answered 

"Is it? I will be there soon"

Yibo just typed a short reply

"OK"

He put the phone back into his pocket and decided to get himself something to eat.

He walked to the cafe and ate something and soon took a walk outside unknowingly walked just below Xiao Zhan's hospital room.

He looked up and sighed and soon left the area. 

Then he got a text from the manager. 

"I'm here.  Go home Yibo and rest"

Yibo just typed a short text back

"OK ge"

And soon he was on the way home.

He had predicted that this would happen.

"My Wei Ying" he thought as he laid in bed that night.

He didn't sleep but was just reminiscing the moments from the past.

He sat up and thought of the moments during the time cultivators were the ones who dominated the world.

He remembered the memories he had with him. The man named Wei Wuxian.

The man who now reincarnated into a man named Xiao Zhan.

He remembered the man whom he cared about looking at him strangely and glaring at him and he knew Xiao Zhan was confused with his real identity. 

He knew he's been found out. 

"I have to tell him the truth" Yibo thought as he saw the room he was in was now surrounded by the red glow from the sun.

Time flew by fast as he was in deep thoughts that he didn't realized the sun came up and a new day has begun. 

He got up and showered and had a small meal and decided to have a walk around his house.

It was habit from a long time ago until now.

The homesickness came to him as he walked around his apartment.  He missed Gusu. The cultivators.  His uncle. His brother. His Wei Ying.

It is not the same as before and it it still hard for him to adjust. Especially to the new things now.

Like the cellphone.

It took him thousands of years to learn and adjust to new things. 

As he walked back to his apartment he remembered the glare of Xiao Zhan and trying to figure out how to explain to the older man about his identity.

"What should I do?" Yibo said as he sat on the couch and at that moment he received a text from someone who he was thinking.

Xiao Zhan

"Come to the hospital. We have to talk"

Yibo had a  heavy feeling as he texted back with an

"OK ge"

He stood up and walked to his wardrobe and wore something else and soon walked out of his apartment and got into a car and drove to the hospital. 

When he arrived at the hospital room he was surprised by Xiao Zhan's words "Wang Yibo or should I say Lan Wangji we need to talk"

At that moment he knew the heavy feeling was something bad and he is having to face it in the moment was not what he expected at all.
